Grammy-winning recording artist and producer RAC’s unique discography impressively navigates the worlds of dance, indie, and electronic.

Based in Portland, Oregon, RAC (né: André Anjos) rose to prominence while at college by remixing iconic artists such as Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Lana Del Rey, and Phoenix. Attracting the attention of Interscope Records, he released his debut LP Strangers in 2014, which featured collaborations with Tegan & Sara, St. Lucia and more. EGO followed three years later on Counter Records, becoming the first album to be released on the Ethereum network, and featured Rivers Cuomo, Rostam and others.

In 2020, RAC released, BOY , his third album, and the accompanying $TAPE project, widely considered to be the first successful music-based NFT. The album features the hit collaboration “Passion” with Louis the Child. In corporeal terms Ralph Of London is Leopold, François, Diane and Ralph, four musicians brought together between London and the North of France sometime in the middle of 2017. They describe their music as Shit-Pop, or in more elaborate words: a soundtrack for the end of musical history. As a group, the eclectic influences that bleed through their music are transcended into a homogenous sonic tapestry that sounds both fresh and meticulously crafted. Following a string of one off tracks uploaded online with a conceptual video, the band released their first official single ‘Hopeless Melody' in May 2019, followed by ‘Worlds End’ in February 2020, both taken from ‘The Potato Kingdom’, the debut ROL LP subsequently released in March 2020. After three years of transporting drums, vintage synthesisers and electric guitars around the UK and France to hone their live repertoire, Ralph and the band are now in the process of recording their second LP in the self built ‘Yellow Sky Studio’, a multifaceted art facility constructed in a disused quarter of an inner city Protestant Temple.

My mum was my biggest inspiration and my number one fan. For her birthday and Christmas every year I would give her CDs filled with my music. She would listen on repeat. It gave her the energy to make it through daily tasks that, due to her deteriorating health, she struggled with so much. She would give me feedback on every song, and I would call her from the studio to play her new things I’d done. Re-entering the studio after losing her, I found myself using my music to grieve. The only way I found purpose was in creating pieces that embodied my experience and dug deep into my emotion. I'm finding a light in the darkness, and I hope I can help others do the same.

Robin McKelle is one of few singers who straddle the line between classic rhythm and blues and traditional jazz with ease. Often compared to Ella Fitzgerald, Robin’s early influences came from Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Donny Hathaway and Nina Simone.  
	McKelle has performed with many artists from the worlds of jazz, rock and pop, including, Bobby McFerrin, Herbie Hancock, Pee Wee Ellis, Fred Wesley, Gregory Porter, Michael McDonald, Lee Fields, Henry Butler, Terence Blanchard, Wayne Shorter, BeBe Winans, and soloist with the Boston Pops Orchestra.
	McKelle began singing and around the age of 5 in church where her mother was choir director. With a natural ear and love of music she studied classical and jazz piano, french horn, music theater and opera.  McKelle studied music formally at the University of Miami, and at Berklee College of Music where she returned as member of the faculty, teaching vocal performance in the early 2000s.  
	Among several honors, McKelle has received the Jazz Vocal award from the National Foundation for the Arts, a Cleo Laine Scholarship, and in 2011 was honored with the distinguished Berklee College Alumni Award. 
Taking 3rd place in the Thelonious Monk Vocal Jazz Competition (2004) she established herself as a career leader. 	Since releasing her debut release in 2006, McKelle has consistently proved to her ever-expanding fan base over four more critically acclaimed releases that she’s 100% steeped in soul, jazz, blues and other ingredients that make her work so thrillingly authentic.

For most of his career, songwriter and producer Ryan Lerman has been making music in the shadows. On April 16, he’ll release his solo album Self Defense, recorded in his LA hometown.

Along the way, Lerman produced and wrote songs for Lizzy McAlpine, toured the world as the string arranger and musical director for John Legend, and formed Scary Goldings, the funk instrumental band with keyboardist Larry Goldings. He’s also a co-writer and live guitarist for Vulfpeck and toured with Ben Folds, Tallest Man On Earth, and Michael Buble.  In January 2025, Lerman was the guitarist for Timothée Chalamet on SNL, alongside James Blake. 

Ryan might be best known for co-creating Scary Pockets, the hit online series that pairs a rotating cast of  ace musicians with a different singer every week, turning well known songs upside-down with clever funk arrangements, and the spinoff podcast Dead Wax. That same collaborative ethos made its way to Self Defense; songs like “Missing Girl” were built up during jam sessions with musician-friends,  “Community is one of the most important things in my life,” Lerman says.

There’s been plenty of joy for Ryan Lerman in recent years. But there’s also been a striking amount of loss, grief, uncertainty and painfully earned growth — “growth,” Lerman says, “into what feels like adulthood.” He has witnessed his father’s decline due to Alzheimer’s, an experience he describes as “the progression of losing someone slowly, of reality becoming blurred and coming into focus differently.” He also lost his grandfather, one of the “most special relationships in my life.” Throughout it all, he wrote and recorded Self Defense. 

“Ryan is a unique musical personality,” adds Vulfpeck’s Theo Katzman. “An excellent songwriter, fearless sonic explorer, expert instrumental craftsman, and one of my favorite voices in music. I love his songs, and I love hearing him sing.”

The making of Self Defense underscores Lerman’s love for his extended family of artists:  co-producer, Jeremy Most, whose work Lerman grew to love after hearing singer-songwriter Emily King’s records. “Having Jeremy as a trusted resource to bounce ideas off of, and to tell me when I was cooking things too long, was really valuable,” Lerman says. “He kept trying to get me to scream in my songs, but other than that he was fantastic.” Lerman’s team also includes mixing engineer Cian Riordan (St. Vincent, Lana Del Rey, Paul McCartney), drummer Ted Poor and CJ Camerieri and Rob Moose of yMusic

“All these songs fit together and tell my story of the past four years,” says Lerman. “I’ve learned a few things, I have something to say, and I’m figuring out how to stand up for myself. ”
