Sometimes he takes time when not helping other people make stuff to make his own stuff.

Over the last couple of years, I’ve played stages across the U.S., England, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Spain, meeting incredible people along the way. Now, I’m releasing my first record, Unobedient—a collection of rocking anthems and emotionally charged tracks that reflect my passion for what I do, all put out in the most DIY way possible.

Pas Sages : deux visages, Virgile et Pablo, pour une « avant pop » fièrement auto-produite et immédiatement addictive.
Les deux compères se rencontrent au collège sur la bien nommée Côte d’Azur, peaufinent leurs profils d’auteurs, compositeurs, multi-instrumentistes touche-à-tout, puis écument les scènes improbables avec un groupe funk rock. Quatre années passées Outre-Atlantique et le déclic arrive avec leur premier titre "Nuit d'Azur", un morceau chill-electro en français, composé et produit dans leur salon.
Ils rentrent en France et posent leurs valises en banlieue parisienne, à Montreuil, avec la furieuse envie de créer une pop à leur façon. C'est dans une ancienne usine transformée en atelier qu'ils développent leurunivers musical inspiré de leurs passions : la musique californienne, les sports de glisses, le Japon et ses voitures. Quelques morceaux voient le jour dont « Tropicana » qui fait un beau bout de chemin chez Kitsuné. Leur premier EP éponyme est un manifeste D.I.Y., un kaléidoscope aux couleurs pastels, un road trip vers le futur d’une chanson nouvelle.

Peach Pit’s songs feel like a close friend telling you a story. The Vancouver quartet—Neil Smith [vocals, guitar], Chris Vanderkooy [guitar], Peter Wilton [bass], and Mikey Pascuzzi [drums]—refined this signature storytelling over a soundtrack of breezy guitars and some ballsy distortion on their sophomore album, You and Your Friends, released April 2020 via Columbia Records.

As legend has it, these high school buddies from North of the Border achieved a major breakthrough in 2016 with their self-titled viral anthem, “Peach Pit.” It eventually surpassed 25 million Spotify streams and heralded the Sweet FA EP in 2017, which also includes their hit single “Seventeen.” Meanwhile, the band’s 2017 full-length debut Being So Normal yielded a string of off-kilter anthems a la “Tommy’s Party” [13 million streams], “Alrighty Aphrodite” [11.5 million streams], and “Drop the Guillotine” [8.2 million streams]. Along the way, they have built a cult following in large part due to their stellar live show. 2019 saw them hunker down and record alongside GRAMMY® Award-winning producer John Congleton [St. Vincent, Best Coast] over the summer. The first single “Feelin’ Low (F*ckboy Blues)” illuminates a shift. Like any good tale, it ends on a twist.

Pearly Drops is a duo comprised of Finnish musicians Sandra Tervonen and Juuso Malin. The pair first gained attention with their unique, softly smudged sound, blending elements of dreamier Indie Pop and contemporary electronic music. Known for their ethereal vocals, lush vintage soundscapes, and emotive lyrics, Pearly Drops craft a sonic experience that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking.

Sandra and Juuso, both with backgrounds in music production and a shared passion for innovation, formed Pearly Drops after previously collaborating on award-winning music and sound design projects. Their debut album, "Call For Help," released in 2020, introduced audiences to their distinct style, characterized by shimmering melodies and introspective themes. The album was well-received for its palette of bold, slightly macabre and the duo's ability to create immersive musical narratives.

With each release, Pearly Drops continues to explore new facets of their undefined genre, showcasing their artistic vision and careful crafting. Perfect Stranger is the stage name for California based, Israeli electronic musician Yuli Fershtat. The Perfect Stranger project was created in February 2005 and within 2 years of its debut became critically acclaimed all over the globe. Perfect Stranger ultimately created his own sub-genre in the psychedelic scene by presenting a totally distinctive sound characterized by groovy playful beats and patiently built compositions that often bridge between progressive trance and techno, with the presence of tribal and psychedelic elements.

Perfect Stranger has released 3 full artist albums, 3 remix albums, 3 compilations and appears on well over a hundred other releases (compilations, EP’s, albums, etc). He also owns & runs the “Digital Structures” label, where he publishes more Tech orientated sounds under the Yuli Fershtat moniker.  His highly anticipated new album "Broadcasting & Receiving" lands October 27th 2023 on Iboga Records.

Hailing from South East London, Pete & Bas have been in and out of trouble since Black & White TV and are rumoured to have long-standing ties with both the Richardson and Kray families. The duo have been co-signed by a long list of artists including names such as Jaykae, Mist, D Double E, Dizzee Rascal, Giggs, Headie One and Dave.

Comprised of the cream of Brooklyn’s young musician crop, each classically trained member is a product of musical parents who gifted their children exceptional DNA, exposure to the greats, and most importantly, wings for exploration and self-discovery. 

The result is a collective that’s as limitless as its music; one that has received praise from the likes of Tyler The Creator and Childish Gambino, performed with Erykah Badu, Jill Scott and The Roots, and killed festivals, late night television and their own residency at New York City’s legendary Blue Note.

Travis Egedy, a.k.a. Pictureplane, made his name chasing unpopular realities and alternate truths across various media. His gallery works, shown on both sides of the pond, collide familiar with fringe. His Alien Body clothing line offers a stylized study of symbology, the occult, and societal decay. And his music - blissed yet shadowy, swirling up vintage strains of house, hip-hop, and noise - treats electronics not as uncannily artificial, but as extensions of our more magical selves. One could, if one was open to such things, visualize the Brooklyn-based artist's albums and their wild live performances as pathways to a rarer form of realness. Because while the Good Show tells us to "Trust No One," exceptions are granted to men with X-Files tattoos.

Egedy came into his own while in Denver, Colorado. He had been pursuing a BFA in painting at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design, but his day-to-day existence had become the medium. He lived in the legendary Rhinoceropolis warehouse, and helped convert that junkyard-adjacent DIY venue into the hub for the city's expanding art-punk underground. In that space, his music evolved fast, and Pictureplane was born into a dank stew of harsh sounds, sub-standard living, outsider art, scavenged furnishings, weird smells, and magnificent openness. By the time his remix of HEALTH's "Lost Time" hit the blogosphere, Egedy had grown into a sound: raw, moody dance-pop addled by rap rhythms and augmented by airy vocals. In 2009, he dropped his official debut, Dark Rift, on Lovepump United, along with a song whose title spoke volumes: "Goth Star." By the year's end, in a stroke of tongue-in-cheek genius, he coined the term "witch house" to describe the upwelling of dark EDM owing nearly equally to legacies of Psychic TV and C+C Music Factory.

In 2011, Pictureplane's Thee Physical arrived, marking a major leap forward both sonically - Egedy's voice dripping sex at the forefront of an emotive technoscape - and thematically: tracks like "Trancegender" and "Breath Work" explore sensuality and the human body with gender-dissolving aplomb. Egedy moved to Brooklyn in 2012 in order to stoke alt-rave culture from a more powerful vantage. He has since toured with Crystal Castles and Major Lazer, headlined independent fests in Europe, remixed the likes of Lil B, been remixed by Grimes, made beats for Antwon and Sole, and churned out a stream of self-releases (I.E. Thee Negative Slave Mixtape). In 2015, Pictureplane teamed with Anticon Records to release his long-awaited next LP, "Technomancer", followed by "Degenerate" in 2019 released on Alien Body.

Docteur en neurosciences, Pierre Hugues José a rangé la blouse au placard pour se consacrer exclusivement à la musique. Avec son bun sur la tête, ses lunettes chinées en brocante et ses morceaux aux antipodes du rap "traditionnel", il dénote dans le milieu. Un personnage épicurien haut en couleur. Passionné de musique depuis son plus jeune âge, il a commencé par des cours de synthé avant de s’ouvrir à un certain éclectisme. En effet, le rappeur de Vesoul tient à "montrer autre chose" et casser les codes. 

Toujours en quête de la figure de style ou de la rime qui fera la différence, Pierre Hugues José a la tête bien pleine. Au détour d’une phrase, il cite le stoïcisme et contextualise d’autres courants philosophiques pour décrire sa personnalité atypique qu’il exhibe sans complexe sur les réseaux sociaux et séduit une importante communauté de followers (+350k sur Instagram et quasiment +600k sur TikTok). Après avoir été sélectionné aux Inouïs du Printemps de Bourges 2022, le rappeur sort au printemps 2023 son premier EP « Comment qu’c’est ? » dans lequel il distille à travers ses morceaux un humour décalé, saupoudré de satire et d’autodérision. En 2024, sort son nouvel EP "L'école des femmes".

Pierre III is Pierre Leroux’s new avatar. He was the founding member of Housse de Racket with Victor Le Masne. Within Housse de Racket, Pierre got the opportunity to work with Philippe Zdar (Cassius), Renaud Létang, Gonzales, Christophe, The Rapture, Two Door Cinema Club… 

After releasing three albums and touring the world with this duet, from Coachella to Japan, the producer/musician/singer has started a new outlet to express himself freely.

Recently having played guitar for Myd or Christine and the Queens, remixed Metronomy or LA Priest, produced Judah Warsky, been remixed by Bon Voyage Organisation, Pierre III has kept busy with multiple collaborations. In the past, we've also seen Pierre on stage playing for Phoenix, in the studio with Jean-Benoit Dunckel (Air), Brigitte Fontaine & Jean-Claude Vannier to name a few.
 
After Touché followed by Mouvement, two tracks selected by La Souterraine for their compilations, Pierre III now presents his first critically acclaimed mixtapes: Cluster I & II.
 
One long journey, like an invitation to dream away, a field of experimentation ostensibly walking away from the pop song format.

Prana’s founding members Tsuyoshi Suzuki and Nick Taylor started their career in Tokyo in 1990 before moving to London to pursue their musical careers. Their first productions were as the project Blissed, together with Tsuyoshi’s school friend Takehiro Tokuda, before the duo went on to release music under the name Taiyo. Soon after their extended EP on Step2House in 1994, they began to produce their first tracks with the project name Prana on Inter 1 Records and Dragonfly Records the same year. With multiple singles issued on Tsuyoshi’s own label Matsuri Productions, Prana put out their debut album “Cyclone” in 1996, cementing the group’s position as one of the pioneering projects in the Goa Trance movement.

When Nick Taylor moved to Australia in 1995, Andy Guthrie, a member of Banco de Gaia and Medicine Drum, joined Prana. The band released their second album “Geomantik” in early 1997, which was a smash hit in Europe, Israel, and Japan. They stopped their activities for a while after Tsuyoshi moved back to Japan in 2000, but all three members came together for the first time for a special live set at the Matsuri Digital Countdown Party on New Year’s Eve 2013. Since then, they have had several live appearances and their greatest hits have been remixed by major artists new and old, so core Goa Trance fans are as enamoured by the project as ever.

Tsuyoshi and Andy are back in the studio and making new tunes in 2021 and officially band has revived with Nick, Andy and Tsuyoshi all together in 2023. In late 2023, the new track was released, and album is also to be release soon!!

Primero, co-fondateur de l’Or du Commun aux côtés de Swing et Loxley, est un personnage incontournable de la scène rap en Belgique. Après plusieurs albums en groupe et diverses collaborations (Isha, Yellowstraps, Lous and the Yakuza, Roméo Elvis, ...), il continue de dévoiler un univers propre. D’abord en 2020, au travers du EP « Serein », quatre titres plus personnels qui amènent une dimension nouvelle à sa musique, puis en 2022 et 2023 sur « Fragments », une mosaïque de quatre EP successifs qui, de petites révélations en grandes confessions, en disent long sur les sentiments qui l’animent aujourd’hui. 

Aujourd'hui Primero revient avec "Plaine des Asphodèles", projet 5 titres rap, sans concessions, un retour à la base que beaucoup attendaient. Sur une base instrumentale entre les années 90 et aujourd'hui, Primero a sorti sa plus belle plume pour parler de lui, de ses sentiments face à la vie, à l'actualité, etc. 

Bref nous entrons une fois de plus dans sa tête le temps d'un EP court mais riche de sens et de textes.

Professional Victims hail from Syracuse, NY comprised at their core by husband and wife duo Shawn Sullivan and Ashley Cox. They took home the SAMMY in 2016 for Best Alt Rock and are already working on another release.  The pair have been making music for over a decade together and feel their best work is still yet to come.

A reggae revivalist with more of a roots influence than most, Jamaican singer Protoje rose to independent success in 2011 with the release of his debut full-length, The Seven Year Itch, and its hit single "Rasta Love," which featured Ky-Mani Marley. Subsequent hits helped elevate his status as an international reggae star and his sound took on more elements of rap and hip-hop on later releases like 2020's album In Search of Lost Time and 2022's Third Time's the Charm.

Born Oje Ken Ollivierre, music was a constant in his early life, with his mother, Lorna Bennett, having scored a hit in 1972 with a reggae version of "Breakfast in Bed" and his father, Mike Ollivierre, a calypso singer from Saint Vincent. Protoje's first release, the 2005 mixtape Lyrical Overdose, Vol. 1, was more overtly hip-hop-influenced, though he began to work toward a reggae/roots sound over the next few years with his cousin, producer Don Corleon. Beginning with the 2009 track "Arguments," he issued a steady diet of singles in advance of his 2011 full-length debut, The Seven Year Itch. One of the album's singles, "Rasta Love" featuring Ky-Mani Marley, became an international hit, elevating his status as a budding star. Following the 2012 mixtape This Is Protoje, he delivered his follow-up album, 2013's The 8 Year Affair, which yielded another hit, "Kingston Be Wise," and charted throughout Europe and the U.S. Protoje's third album, 2015's Ancient Future, proved to be his breakout and, two weeks after its release, sat atop the Billboard reggae chart thanks in part to the Chronixx collaboration "Who Knows." A five-song EP, Royalty Free (Side B), was released as a free download on the singer's birthday in June 2016. Working again with producer Winta James and featuring a second collaboration with Chronixx in "No Guarantee," Protoje returned in 2018 with his fourth album, A Matter of Time, kicking off a series of introspective albums loosely based around the concept of time. It was followed in 2020 by his acclaimed fifth album, In Search of Lost Time. Featuring guest appearances from Popcaan, Koffee, Lila Iké, and American rapper Wiz Khalifa, it saw Protoje exploring more social and political issues than before. Following in the footsteps of musicians the Islamic Republic erased from history, Aref reemerged from his bedroom as “Hashill Ah,” a gold-dipped psychedelic sun child who had discovered some arcane truth in records by 13th Floor Elevators, Zappa, Captain Beefheart, and Bo Diddley (all banned in the Islamic Republic). With a few trusted amigos, he began writing a quasi-Persian western that imagines Hashill riding the desert sands as a drifter with a six-shooter as his side on a caravan he calls Psychic Bloom—a floral rebellion he’s planted in the belly of his hometown, Tehran, the capital of Iran, where he’s a kind of indigenous refugee, for now, because of Trump’s “travel ban.” Psychic Bloom is based in Tehran, Iran, where the “light is buried by dirty sands,” in a cosmopolitan fortress of pollution, anxiety, and soul-searching, where Hashill is using his surf guitar to find ride a visa and break through the walls between east and west. Rock and roll is his jet plane; battering-ram; caravan and currency to freedom as the first Burger Records signing from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
