After finding a group of friends to sing and play along with, Carroll picked up an acoustic to accompany the songs in his head. What came of this is a set of songs that resonate with the fans of Tyler Childers, Jason Isbell, Parker McCollum, John Moreland, and his close friend Zach Bryan. Carroll performed alongside Bryan on his 2020 release, Elisabeth. Carroll is currently writing his first full-length record. He is on the road where he plays piano in support of Zach Bryan. J.R. Carroll gained his gospel pipes on Sunday mornings, leading the small-town Okie church choir by piano and voice. After finding a group of friends to sing along with, Carroll adopted the acoustic guitar and wrote what became his debut EP, “Long Story Short.” The set of songs resonated with fans of Tyler Childers, Jason Isbell, John Moreland, and Carroll’s close friend Zach Bryan.
Since the EP’s release, Carroll has been playing shows of all sizes. He currently accompanies Zach Bryan as Bryan’s touring keyboardist. When he isn’t on tour with Bryan, Carroll is writing at home in Tulsa, Oklahoma or playing his own shows around the United States.

Jackson Dyer is an Australian singer-songwriter and producer based in Berlin. Growing up on the coast of Sydney, his Alternative/ Indie songs are infused with both the calm and restlessness of the ocean. At the start of 2013, Dyer first arrived in Berlin, where he progressed from playing on the streets to sharing the stage with ‘Hozier’, ‘Hiatus Kaiyote’, ‘Alice Phoebe Lou’, as well as playing a host of festivals and touring Europe extensively in support of ‘Mighty Oaks’. 

After the release of three independent EPs and almost four years in Berlin, he decided to concentrate on writing his first Album and he returned to the shores of Australia. His Debut LP, ‘Inlet', is heavily influenced by the Australian landscape and the awe-inspiring ocean that surrounded him as the album progressed. Inlet is an optimistic and introspective collection of songs, blending field recordings of Australia’s natural wonders with Dyer’s evocative lyricism and spacious, electronic production.

It was to the works of Mendelssohn, Verdi and Schubert performed by his father, that Jacques, then a child, discovered music. Piano lessons followed but this instrument remained a tool among others for the songwriter he was to become. It was the power of rock music and the energy unleashed by an electric guitar that drove him to learn the instrument, looking up to Slade, the Who and the Rolling Stones. 

As a student, he wrote his first songs including « Over the Hill », an ode to the musical life ahead of him. Then came the years of composition and the first studio sessions in his native Alsace. With his demos in hand Jacques and his rock band « Filigrane » played their first gigs in the nearby clubs and regional rock events.

In the early nineties, the Strasbourg-based label Titan Records signed « Filigrane » for their debut album. TV performances on regional channels started giving the band some visibility with an appearance at the national Disc Fair in Paris.

In 1994, Jacques teamed up with guitarist and arranger René Hemmig and bassist Eric Bixel, who had already worked alongside him in « Filigrane ». He composed and wrote the lyrics of five of the ten songs on his second album « Evening Flight », recorded under the title  « Late Hours » and mixed by London soul singer Blue Rivers.

Early 2000, Jacques wrote and composed an EP, arranged by Mario Tardio and recorded at Audiosoft studios. Guitarist Christian Clua played the lead guitars for these three new songs.

After a long period away from the studios, Jacques enjoyed a refreshed boost of inspiration. He wrote and composed « Rumors on the Town », a third album of twelve tracks released on the music platforms in 2009. Jacques and Deby May shared the lead vocals on this production, once again arranged by Mario Tardio with Christian Clua as soloist. On the occasion of the album's release, director Anna Wirz shot the video for the lead song « Push » available on YouTube under the production name « Weekend On Mars ».

At the age of six, Jazz Emu fell in love with a second hand saxophone and proudly took it to a trial lesson. Within a minute the teacher had decided that Jazz’s hands were unusually small, and his shiny brass hopes were crushed with a plastic beginner’s clarinet. Several years of funk-repressed classical training followed, with the groove bubbling pianissimo under the surface. When he finally heard the syncopated hi-hats in Bill Withers’ Use Me, there was no going back. Jazz pulled out the dusty old sax and got to work. He would stay up late at night recording shining synths and near-silent screaming sax solos (no noise after 10pm) on his mum’s BOSS BR900-CD recorder. The results were too powerful to show the general public.

Ten years later, armed with an Akai EWI-4000S, a right hand calloused by synth-glisses and a handsome selection of suits, Jazz has set out to change the world. Combining the lyrically pleonastic and musically dank, this project is an auditory experiment in high-art meets low-art. Imagine performing a Shakespearean sonnet over The Sims loading-music. Or reading Homer’s Iliad off of a toilet roll. Imagining it? Good. You’re about three eighths of the way to grasping the sonic mythos of Jazz Emu.

Multi Award Winning Artist, Composer, Arranger, Educator, and Founder of Artistry of Jazz Horn

In the two years since Jazzmeia Horn bowed with her first album, the GRAMMY Award®-Nominated A Social Call, she’s been very busy performing on international tours as well as teaching masterclasses and workshops globally, honing her vocal skills to a finely tuned level while writing songs of personal relevance and social message, and perfecting a fearless approach to improvisation and performance in general.

  The convergence of this drive and development has resulted in what is sure to be hailed as one of the most courageous recordings of 2019—The Grammy Nominated and NAACP Image Award Winning Love and Liberation—filled with songs of daring musicality, emotional power, and messages of immediate relevance. Shortly after composing and arranging Love and Liberation, a book was in the making for Horn. Her first book Strive From Within: The Jazzmeia Horn Approach focuses on sharing Jazzmeia's knowledge on using her voice as a female vocalist and artist in the male dominated Jazz industry. The first of its kind, the book teaches singers how to serve Jazz music along with the many roles of a good vocalist.

Blessed with a fitting name for her chosen path—it was Horn’s jazz-loving, piano-playing grandmother who chose “Jazzmeia”—the singer was born in Dallas in 1991, grew up in a tightly knit, church-going family filled with musical talent and started singing as a toddler. She attended Booker T. Washington High School for Performing and Visual Arts, known for launching such musical greats as Roy Hargrove, Norah Jones, and Erykah Badu. Her education included steering herself to the mentors who would guide her passion for jazz, like Jon Hendricks, Abbey Lincoln, and Betty Carter.

In 2009, Horn moved to New York City to enroll in The New School’s Jazz and contemporary music program. In 2013, she entered and won a Newark-based contest named for an initial inspiration—the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Competition. In 2015, she won the Thelonious Monk Institute International Jazz Competition, the most coveted award a young jazz musician can hope to attain. Part of her prize was a contract with Concord Records, which led to A Social Call, and Love and Liberation. 
Horn’s latest project, Where We Are, is self released and consists of poems and original compositions written during the pandemic to reflect the times, and encourage people to strive through adversity. It was recorded live at Minton’s Playhouse, the historical landmark for the sake of the jazz tradition and legacy.

Jean-Benoît Dunckel, a mathematician studying in Versailles (France), first began a working partnership with Nicolas Godin in the indie band Orange. When Orange failed to make headway, the two continued working together as Air, specializing in retro-flavored electronic music. Jonathan Fitoussi is a French composer residing in Paris. His solo works in recent years have explored a fusion of electronic  and acoustic sounds with melodic textures, colors and emotions in a cinematographic aesthetic style.

Jeffrey Cobbold is an artistic researcher, multimedia artist, and New Jerseyan who creates sonically driven multimedia works which have appeared in the MarketLab at Sonar+D in Barcelona, Spain (2016), Artworks-Trenton in Trenton, New Jersey (2017 - 2020) and the 9th edition of Elevator Music (2022), a sound art installation at Newark, New Jersey's former Gallery Aferro (2003 - 2023). Jeffrey holds degrees from Berklee College of Music's Valencia, Spain campus, Princeton Theological Seminary and Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts. He is currently a Doctor of Musical Arts student & special faculty lecturer at California Institute of the Arts within their Performer-Composer program.

Jenna Camille is a singer-songwriter from Accokeek, Maryland whose music is "a heady mix of R&B with elements of jazz, hip-hop and electronic music," as described by The Washington Post, which "evokes the anything-goes apotheosis of neo-soul". Growing up, Jenna received formal training in piano, studying at the New Sewell Music Conservatory and DC's esteemed Duke Ellington School of the Arts. She then majored in jazz studies at both Michigan State University and the University of the District of Columbia. At the same time, Jenna has performed at a wide range of events, including the Chale Wote Street Art Festival in Accra, Ghana, and the Common Ground Music Festival in Lansing, Michigan. She has also shared bills with acts like Hollie Cook and Damu the Fudgemunk, among others. in 2018, She and Portugal-based producer, Pedro Ricardo, released their joint album “This Is What I’m Going Through” on Wolf Music Recordings. The album was featured on I-D France, BBC Radio, Stamp the Wax, Bolting Bits,NTS Radio and Virgil Abloh’s Televised Radio. She currently tours with Jazz-Spokenword group, Heroes Are Gang Leaders and is signed to HipNott Records.

Jephté Kweto (professionally known as jev.) is a Congolese-Canadian refugee who considers himself a loner. The loner theme aims to highlight the positive aspects of being someone who paves their own path. Having lived in the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Africa, and Canada, jev lacks a specific home city to pay homage to, thus he gravitates towards a more worldly and individualized sense of home. As a citizen of the world, jev aims to bring people together from all walks of life through his “it’s okay to be different” overarching message and his experimental music, which incorporates various styles and genres (particularly alternative hip-hop, classic hip-hop, and R&B). Inspired by legends like Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Andre 3000, Nas, YMCMB, and Jay Z, jev is vying for his own spot upon the Mount Rushmore of the genre. 
He released his first EP “The Color Grey.” in December 2022, and his lead single from the project reached #1 on the Spotify US Viral 50 chart less than a month later. This inspired jev to quit his day job, hire major music firms for his management and legal representation, and continue releasing consistently towards another and even stronger body of work. “The Color Grey.” garnered attention from prominent media outlets such as Lyrical Lemonade, Pigeons & Planes (Best New Artists of 2023), and Sheesh Media. Jhorman Peña, born in Venezuela, VOICEX born in Spain. We have a huge influenced by orchestral music and techno. Our love for music began at an early age, exploring orchestral and electronic sounds that we eventually fused into a distinctive style. Born and raised in South East London, Chinese-Vietnamese-British artist Jianbo is a standout voice emerging from the UK’s rap scene. Fusing grime and garage with post-punk, jazz, and orchestral music, Jianbo’s work is a reflection of the world that shaped him: a patchwork of underground energy, immigrant narratives, and raw storytelling.

Jianbo has earned a growing cult following through his breakout EPs Yellow Peril and Tears In My XO Sauce, as well as collaborations with Nix Northwest, Denham Audio, and BABii, carving out a distinct space in the UK underground with his intricate lyricism and versatile sound. His early singles, Mongkok Madness and Chinatown Alley, established his signature aesthetic, where the vivid cinematic textures of Wong Kar Wai and the boldness of classic martial arts films shape both his music and visuals.

Johanna Warren is a multi-instrumentalist and producer who began her career as a singer/songwriter in the Brooklyn-based psych folk band Sticklips. The group released two albums before disbanding in 2012, and after a stint performing backup vocals for Iron & Wine, Warren self-released her debut solo album, Fates, in 2013. The album prompted her to tour nationally under her own name, and since then, she’s led a nomadic existence, calling cities across the United States home for short periods of time.

Over the past few years, Warren has toured alongside Mitski, Julie Byrne, and Marissa Nadler, but a life on the road hasn’t slowed her output. In 2015, she released her sophomore album nūmūn to acclaim, propelling her to the forefront of artists to watch in the second half of the decade. Warren dedicated the spellbinding collection of acoustically-driven songs to the phases of the moon and to the divine feminine–forces of great power and consequence that are all-too often overlooked.

The following year, Warren announced a twin set of albums released on her own label Spirit House, which promoted a radically inclusive, artist-friendly ethos. Each of the songs on Gemini I corresponds with a song on Gemini II, which debuted later, in 2018. The two albums are in conversation with one another, offering up a character sketch of dueling personalities vying for acceptance. Julie Sévilla Fraysse is one of the most valuable cellists in the world and a promising talent into the young generation of classical music artists. Considered a new phenomenon and gathering together a large and new community around her, she represents like none other, the classical excellence as well as the French elegance and modernity. Blend of a genuine, humble and sophisticated musical approach, JSF touches her audience through a unique energy, enhancing the vision and opening minds into the classical music global scope. She graduated from the prestigious National Superior Conservatoire of Paris and she has also studied at the Julliard School in New-York. Coming back to Europe, she joined the Queen Elisabeth Chapelle in Belgium as an artist in residence. She has been taught by some of the finest cello players in the world such as Roland Pidoux in Paris, Gary Hoffman in Brussels, Natalia Gutman and Natalia Shakhovskaia at the prestigious International Music Academy of Santander in Spain. JSF is a laureate of the Banque Populaire Foundation as well as in the 2010 Brahms competition in Austria. She is also one of the original founding members of the Werther trio, awarded in 2009 at the Maria Canals competition in Barcelona and also receiving in 2011 the Press Critic award during Lyon’s chamber music competition. She has recently performed as a super soloist with the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra at FLAGEY concert hall in Brussels, with the UAEH Orchestra in Mexico as well as with the Camerata Venia Orchestra conducted by Gleb Skvortsov. 

In 2018 she performed live in front of 50000 persons at the French Festival "Un Violon sur le Sable" offering a tribute to rockstar legend Johnny Hallyday. Passionated by chamber music, she has played recitals with some of the most prominent classical artists in the world such as pianists Abdel Rahman El Bacha, Nicolas Angelich, violinist Régis Pasquier or cellist Gary Hoffman .... She is part of the National Opera of Paris. She is also a founding member of the Klimt Trio. At the same time she combines her classical career with unexpected and new experiences like her duo with Hip-Hop dancer Yann Antonio. JSF is also an artist extremely involved into transmission and she likes to give masterclass as well as caring about the others through the music and emotions. She often participates to charity initiatives like CoCreate Humanity in Switzerland or Cékedubonheur in France, both organizations with which she is particularly involved. Her first disc released in 2016 was devoted to Kodaly, Janacek and Dvorak sonatas and her next release in 2021 will be devoted to the Haydn concertos for cello. Jungle Jack, anciennement connu sous le nom de Jack Furaxx, est un rappeur français né en 1992 et originaire du 20ᵉ arrondissement de Paris. En plus de son groupe Menilville, il est proche du collectif L'uZine, notamment de Souffrance et de Tonio le Vakeso.

Son premier projet sort en 2014, il s'agit d'un EP collaboratif avec le producteur Bagdadi.

Il sort en 2017 une compilation, “Menilville Piff vol.1”, rassemblant des freestyles et face B enregistrés au fil des années. Ce projet est disponible sur sa page Soundcloud, aux côtés d'autres inédits.

En décembre 2021, désormais appelé Jungle Jack, il sort l'EP Jungle des Illusions vol. 1, entièrement produit par Bagdadi.
