Just before their debut in 2018, the band 'Nerd Connection' was recognized for their solid skills, winning the 'EMERGENZA World Band Contest 2018 KOREA' and making a spectacular debut on the stage of the 'Taubertal Festival 2018' in Germany as representatives of Korea. 

Through their music and performances, they currently show the process of 'people deeply immersed in their own worlds being connected and united through music.’ 

Under the slogan "Chaotic World, Warm Music," they mainly sing about things that remain beautiful despite being dark and pessimistic.

With a rock sound infused with pop elements, clear-cut melodies, and deep lyrics, they have established a definitive musical worldview, positioning themselves as key players set to lead a new era for bands.

In their recently released second studio album <And yet, We still>, the band declares that the mere fact of ‘being alive, after all’ makes every process a wonderful experience. They have meticulously arranged 14 tracks to expand their bold musical world unique to Nerd Connection.

They are garnering significant attention from the public with their distinctive performance style, showcasing an interactive audience participation show in 2023 and directing a solo performance with immersive media art in 2024.

Pour NeS, tout commence avec des rencontres. From the confines of her closet she crafts eccentric, vibrant music that draws inspiration from numerous genres such as darkwave and alternative rock. Melbourne-bred singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Nick Murphy burst out of the SoundCloud streaming world and onto the global stage with the release of his 2014 platinum selling debut LP ***Built on Glass***, released under the Chet Faker moniker. On the heels of that album’s success, he spent the next half decade on the road, traveling with a microphone in his suitcase, recording the first Nick Murphy album, 2019’s ***Run Fast Sleep Naked***, on the fly.

Murphy followed that up in early 2020 with a surprise instrumental LP called ***Music for Silence***, an exploratory ten-track collection initially released exclusively via the Calm app. The record saw wider availability in early March 2020 via Murphy’s own Detail Records — an eerily prophetic release that foreshadowed the isolation wrought by the impending Covid-19 pandemic.

In late 2020, Murphy revived the Chet Faker project with the single “Low” and released the highly anticipated second Chet Faker album, ***Hotel Surrender***, in 2021. That was followed by the first Nick Murphy & The Program LP, ***Take In The Roses***, produced by Dave Harrington of Darkside.

No Violins formed in early 1989 in Rockhampton, Australia. They released a self-produced EP of 4 original songs in 1991, called Venerdi? (Italian word for Friday). After touring locally in Australia for a number of years, the band split as members moved away and on to other projects. The band has re-formed recently to re-record the original EP from 1991 over 30 years later.

Nouvelle Donne Music est un label musical français indépendant créé en 1997 par Kodjo. Plusieurs artistes ont signé sur ce label parmi lesquels Ol' Kainry, Nessbeal, Papa Tank, Kamelancien, OGB L'Equipe, Kamnouze et DJ Arafat.

Le premier projet du label sorti en 1998 fut l'album d'Agression Verbale formée d'Ol' Kainry, Rismo, Ricardo et Georgetown & Honers. Cet album fut suivi d'un maxi de Daomen.

En 1999, le label sort la compilation ''Nouvelle Donne'' avec le morceau de Zoxea et ATK (groupe) A TK, ''Attaque à mic armé'' et sera vendue à 15 000 exemplaires. Le deuxième volume de la compilation sortira en 2000 et verra l'une des rares apparitions de Lunatic avec le morceau ''Homme de l'ombre'' avec Mala. Toujours en 1999, le label sort la mixtape et l'album de Daomen ainsi qu'un maxi.

Pour annoncer l'arrivée d'Ol' Kainry, le maxi ''En attendant...'' sort en 2001 et comporte un des morceaux phares de l'artiste, ''Crie Mon Nom'' qui verra sa suite dans l'album commun avec Dany Dan. ''Au-delà des apparences'' puis ''Les chemins de la dignité'' en 2004.

Après Ol' Kainry, deux autres membres de Factor X : Kamnouze et Jango sortent leurs albums respectifs. Le label sort deux albums en 2004 : ceux d'Antilop Sa & Ol' Kainry.

Nubya Garcia isn’t an artist you can easily classify. Is it jazz? Sure, the London-born saxophonist, composer and bandleader grew up studying the genre under the noted pianist Nikki Yeoh at Camden Music. But it isn’t until you listen to albums like 2020’s Source and 2024’s Odyssey that you hear broader creativity shining through: It’s jazz, classical, dub, R&B and whatever else Garcia wants to convey. It all comes from a place of exploration and self-study, of wanting to do all the things across all disciplines while ignoring arbitrary boxes that don’t fit.

In 2022, Garcia toured the US in support of Khruangbin, performing in sold-out venues including Radio City Music Hall in New York, the Ryman in Nashville and the Met in Philadelphia. She then headlined her own tour in the UK and US, performing at various festivals including Glastonbury, Love Supreme, Pickathon and Newport Jazz.
