Coleman Goughary has played a major behind-the-scenes role in the music world for over a decade as artist relations manager for the preeminent music software, Ableton. In this role he dedicated his life to helping other artists large and small while never revealing himself or his work to the public. Yet the entire time, he was crafting something truly special. blessed in the grand scheme effortlessly fuses field recordings, acoustic instruments, electronics, and classical instrumentation into a masterpiece of sound that truly mesmerizes. At once intimate and quietly epic, it’s a journey through consciousness itself. A space in which to explore, heal, create, and travel.

Synopsis
blessed in the grand scheme, an ambient symphony in three movements for chamber orchestra and electronics, is an ascension into the cosmos of every moment. At its core, blessed in the grand scheme is about oneness in nature.

In the first movement, our lone observer is experiencing bliss to such a degree that they unintentionally pull the veil back on their reality and, calmly awestruck, begin to float omnisciently around the surrounding golden riverbank at dusk, beholding all of the actors in nature flowing through their evening routine until darkness settles.

In the second movement, our observer, now in an open meadow under the stars, tunes in to the twilight pulse of the effortless life motions occurring all around them, making acquaintance with their cyclical rhythms, drifting along and interchanging with their innate performances and aligning with their intentions.

In the final movement, feeling the comfort of natural harmony as one, the aligned beings take beautiful solos and meshed counter-melodies to affirm their existence and express their personality, in full freedom and acceptance to just BE, until a storm sweeps through the valley to nurture life and usher in the dawn - and our observer is released back into their familiar reality, enlightened and expanded.
