Taloula is an independent singer, songwriter and producer. Growing up in Paris, she is influenced by artists such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Rihanna and Pharrell Williams. She always knew that her life would be all about music. Her mother was a singer and often performed when she was pregnant with her. She therefore believes she was singing before she was even born. At 12 years old, she started to play guitar and piano, all self-taught. Previously known under a different name and after a huge career in France, Taloula decided to shift and come back to her roots. Now, after some soul searching, she is ready to start the next chapter of her creative life and reveal the artist she truly is. After working for some months with London based producer Linden Jay (Doja Cat, Sinead Harnett, Sophie Faith...) and mastering engineer Prash ‘Engine-Earz’ Mistry (Jorja Smith, Kali Uchis, Maverick Sabre...), Taloula released her first EP “The Evolution of Taloula” in December 2021. This EP also includes tracks written and produced by Taloula herself. 

After the first release, Taloula started working on her debut album and produced her first single ‘DANGER’ released in May 2023 accompanied by a music video co-directed by herself. The Barberettes est un duo sud-coréen composé de Shinae An Wheeler et de Sunnie Lee ayant débuté officiellement en 2014.

A l'origine le groupe, formé en 2012, était un trio et avait pour membres : Shinae An Wheeler, Grace Kim et Park So Hee jusqu'en novembre 2015 où Grace Kim décide de quitter le groupe. Compton rapper the Game combines intense autobiographical narratives, a hunger to assert his lyrical prowess, and a creatively referential approach to hip-hop that has justified his stage name. Emerging in the early 2000s as one of the rawest voices on the West Coast scene, the Game's forceful talent was established with The Documentary (2005), a full-length debut that topped the Billboard 200. The rapper has continued to move tirelessly with Doctor's Advocate (2006) and The R.E.D. Album (2011), his second and third number one albums, and other high-charting conceptual projects such as 1992 (2016) and DRILLMATIC Heart vs. Mind (2022).

The Game was born Jayceon Terrell Taylor in Compton in 1979. Involved in the drug trade after a rough childhood, it took being shot during a home invasion to get him away from dealing drugs and into a life in music. Inspired by N.W.A, The Chronic, Doggystyle, and classic albums from 2Pac, the Notorious B.I.G., and Jay-Z, Game began rapping in 2001 and never looked back. His barbed and bold freestyles caught the ear of Dr. Dre, who brought the Game on as one of the first signees to his Aftermath Records roster in 2003 and executive-produced his debut. It was delayed a few times, but The Documentary finally dropped in January 2005. With everyone from Dre and 50 Cent to Nate Dogg, Kanye West, and Just Blaze contributing to the album, The Documentary made it clear from the outset that the then-heated geographic squabbles weren't a part of Game's agenda.

Soon Game and 50 Cent were at war over the former's reluctance to beef with any and every enemy of G-Unit. Freestyles and mixtapes were spawned in amazing amounts from both sides, and every time a truce seemed possible, things fell apart at the last minute. Dr. Dre was stuck in the middle, and while he never publicly denounced the Game, he passed on working with the rapper for his next effort. Despite Dre's absence, Game's sophomore release kept its original title of Doctor's Advocate when it was released in late 2006. Two years later, LAX was released. With fewer mentions of Dr. Dre and 50 Cent, the uneven album found the rapper moving on from his previous obsessions. After periods of retirement talk, the MC had a change of heart and began recording The R.E.D. Album ("R.E.D." being short for "rededicated"). After several delays and the release of numerous promotional singles, the album was released in August 2011.

A year later, Jesus Piece landed with a long guest list including Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, and Chris Brown. The conceptual album explored both the divine and the devilish, and how the rapper attended church as often as strip clubs. Late in 2012 he announced he had partnered with rapper Stat Quo and formed the label Blood Money Entertainment, which saw its first release two years later when "Bigger Than Me" was released. The single landed on Game's 2014 release Blood Moon: Year of the Wolf, another feature-filled album with Too $hort on board for the follow-up single, "Or Nah." Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Nas, and Q-Tip led off the long guest list on his star-studded 2015 effort The Documentary 2, an album that was introduced by the single "100," featuring Drake. In 2016, the A&E network aired Game's three-part documentary Streets of Compton, while eOne released his soundtrack for the series. Later that year, his likeness starred in a mobile app game, Block Wars, which also had an accompanying soundtrack released commercially. His eighth proper studio album, 1992, followed in October, led by the Scott Storch-produced single "All Eyez" (featuring Jeremih). 1992 topped the Billboard independent and Top R&B/hip-hop charts, and peaked at number four on the overall Top 200.

In June 2019, the Game released "West Side," the first single off his ninth album, Born 2 Rap, which was released later that year, landing at number 19 on the Billboard 200. It featured guest appearances by Dom Kennedy, Ed Sheeran, 21 Savage, Anderson .Paak, and others. The rapper had previously announced that it would be his final studio album, but he continued recording, and in 2020 issued the non-album single "A.I. with the Braids," an homage to NBA star Allen Iverson featuring Lil Wayne. Two years later, the Game returned with the double album DRILLMATIC Heart vs. Mind, one of his most daring efforts. Throughout its two-hour duration, the Game mimicked numerous rappers, including Eminem on the ten-minute diss track "The Black Slim Shady," and worked with a cast of producers and rappers extensive by even the Game's standard. Coulondre, Dolmen, Privat. Ces trois noms font briller le jazz français depuis quinze ans. Trois authentiques artistes au regard vif et cultivé. Trois musiciens de grande valeur, visages d'un art en perpétuel mouvement. On les a vus sur toutes les scènes d'ici et d'ailleurs. On a appris à chérir leur accent, qu'il vienne de Nîmes, Sainte-Anne en Guadeloupe ou Saint-Joseph en Martinique. On les a racontés dans la presse et distingués en haut lieu, applaudi leurs projets toujours plus aboutis voire franchement culottés : « Meva Festa », « LeNo » ou « Phoenix » pour ne citer que ceux-là. Et pourtant au bout du chemin, malgré des années de chassés-croisés entre clubs et festivals, Laurent Coulondre, Arnaud Dolmen et Grégory Privat, ces trois grandes plumes du jazz français dont on peut dire qu'ils sont au sommet de leur art... n'avaient jamais joué ensemble.

C'est à Ferber, l'un des hauts lieux où s'enregistre la musique à Paris, qu'ils posèrent leurs valises au milieu d'une immense pièce couleur chêne. Un lieu à l'atmosphère tamisée, chargé d'histoire et dégageant, pour qui a déjà eu la chance de poser ses yeux sur ses tapis et claviers anciens, une sorte d'aura magique. On disposa là la batterie d'Arnaud puis, aux sommets restants du triangle maintenant dessiné, le piano de Grégory et l'orgue de Laurent, chacun regardant les deux autres. Rendons grâce ici à l'Académie du Jazz : c'est sous son égide qu'ils s'étaient trouvés quelques mois plus tôt, s'accordant sur un thème de Nougaro ou Petrucciani. Entre eux, le crush avait été immédiat, et l'on se donna rendez-vous pour la suite dans un fameux club parisien, le Duc des Lombards, actant qu'un groupe était né et qu'on allait lui bâtir un répertoire : « The Getdown ».

Que le fluide passe entre Grégory Privat et Laurent Coulondre n'étonnera personne. On a affaire à deux grands mélodistes de jazz et lorsqu'on parle avec eux, le nom de Michel Petrucciani fuse très vite autour de la table, en souvenir des cassettes et des disques compacts de leur adolescence. « Ma plus grosse influence musicale » confiait Laurent dans les notes de son album « Michel On My Mind ». Comme lui, Privat a hérité de cette main droite chantante et du flair pour saisir la note qui sonne juste. Ce qu'Alexandre Petrucciani, le fils de Michel, appelait : « Peindre des émotions sincères et des couleurs vives ». Ceci, Privat l'a toujours fait. On se souvient de certains airs marquants chez lui : « Las », « Supernova » et bien sûr « Waltz For MP » adressé à qui vous savez. Même Dolmen, qui avoue dans un sourire s’intéresser de plus en plus aux quatre-vingt-huit touches du roi des instruments, pourrait reprendre à son compte la formule de Bernard Lubat, voyant chez Petrucciani un « grand batteur de piano avec un tambour dans le cœur ». Voilà comment, sans y penser, et parce que Grégory Privat descend d'un grand organiste, lui et Coulondre ont placé leur conversation piano-B3 sous les auspices du duo légendaire que formaient Eddy Louiss et Michel Petrucciani.

C'est la grande leçon de « The Getdown » : à ce niveau d'entente et de savoir faire, la question n'était pas de « prouver » mais bien de « faire de la musique ensemble », sans esbroufe ni excès de zèle, de celle qui parle au cœur. Dans ces chansons immédiatement séduisantes, vous reconnaîtrez les penchants de chacun, ici un doigt de funk, là un air de biguine, un tambour rituel et même un trait de mélancolie. La mélodie et l'émotion sont constantes, le plaisir érigé en dogme. S'il n'est pas totalement inédit, ce triangle piano-B3-batterie est rare... à croire qu'on l'a inventé pour eux ! Et Coulondre de faire rugir son orgue, Dolmen sonner les cymbales et Privat ce piano cristallin en grandes envolées lyriques. On entend l'inspiration et la joie, la fougue et la rondeur, quelque chose de naturellement évident.

À la fin de la journée, alors que peaux et cordes résonnent encore de leurs exploits, on se penche sur cette formidable machine. Le vieil orgue, confie Coulondre avec l’œil malicieux d'un enfant, est l'instrument fétiche de Rhoda Scott, celui qu'elle joue depuis de nombreuses années. Y a t-elle posée l'empreinte élégante de ses pieds nus ? Ce qui est sûr, c'est que derrière la patine, cet orgue recèle de petits secrets et d'astuces ingénieuses que l'on vous taira pour garder un brin de mystère. De toute façon, il sonne terrible ! Les compositions du trio, avec leur écriture limpide, cette sincérité pop et ces montées d'adrénaline, furent écrites dans l'idée que le B3 se fondrait dans le piano de Privat et ses voicings extra-larges, et que les deux feraient chœur, puis se répondraient l'un l'autre par vagues successives, comme dans une discussion joyeuse entre amis, Coulondre et Privat trouvant en Dolmen un troisième larron à leur mesure, virevoltant, musical, prenant pleinement part à la conversation et lui donnant son tempo.

La première fois qu'ils ont joué ensemble – on peut vous le garantir, on y était – a jailli la fameuse étincelle, ce moment fugace où les énergies fusionnent, les corps balancent et un sourire se dessine invariablement sur les visages. Il s'est passé quelque chose ce soir-là. On leur a dit – et nous étions nombreux – qu'on adorerait les voir enregistrer un disque. S'ils se sont fait prier (par modestie ou par crainte de brusquer leur agenda), ça n'a pas duré très longtemps. La faute à l'évidence et... à l'envie ! Loin d'une rencontre artificielle entre trois leaders, « The Getdown » est une authentique partie de plaisir, de celles qui placent la musique, le talent et la camaraderie au centre du jeu. Mais est-ce vraiment si surprenant quand on connaît la personnalité de ces trois là ? En réalité, « The Getdown » résume Arnaud, cela veut juste dire : « avoir les pieds sur terre, ne pas se poser de questions, et y aller pour le kiffe ». Pouvait-il en être autrement ?

They have released 3 full length albums, 5 EP's, and performed their hit singles on US late night TV shows including Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Seth Meyers.  Known for their collaborative prowess, The Knocks have worked with artists across the musical spectrum, ranging from indie [Foster The People, MGMT, MUNA], hiphop [Cam'ron, Big Boi, Method Man], dance [Purple Disco Machine, ODESZA, Sofi Tukker], and pop [Carly Rae Jepsen, MNEK, Charli XCX]. In addition, they founded and run the independent record label Black Clay/HeavyRoc Music.

The Knocks

The Meeting Places was founded in September 2001 in Los Angeles, California by four guitarists: Scott McDonald, Chase Harris, Dean Yoshihara, and Arthur Chan. Having a shared interest in music, the three guitarists later decided to rehearse and after a few practices they recruited Yoshihara, a college friend of Harris' at the University of Arizona, to play drums. Chan then switched to bass while singer and lyricist Harris remained on rhythm guitar. Original compositions started to develop immediately — "Wide Awake," "Where You Go," and "See Through You" were the first songs written by the group. 

While McDonald became the architect of the quartet's signature reverberating washes, each member contributed to the songwriting process on their debut album.

The thump traversed all beings, and the Thumpasaurus helped distribute its secret wisdom to all sentient and non sentient creatures. It was good. As time passed and the Earth fluctuated between periods of great peace and great unrest, the Thumpasaurus became a threat to growing forces of evil- who fueled by a primary motivation in consumerism sought to eliminate the Thumpasaurus. To save the species and protect the goodness of the Universe, The Thumpasaurus fled the earth to the outer reaches of space time - though the Thumpasaurus swore to return to the Earth as harbingers of the age of reawakening.  In their last gift to the consciousness of the cosmic manifestation of the Earth and its beings, the Thumpasaurus wrote down the secrets of the Thump in a manuscript of real troof and buried it in a sacredly SECRET location (the appalachian mountains) in hopes that the Thump would survive and benefit future generations with happiness, love and thump. As buildings turned to sand, and memories to dust, so too did the ancient memory of the Thumpasaurus and with them disappeared the philosophy of Thump.

Tom Day is a solo producer residing in Melbourne, Australia and has been creating ambient and electronic music since 2005. The name 'Tristan' is synonymous with Psychedelic Trance and the history of Nano Records. Tristan has been Dj'ing and producing for more than 30 years, performing his unique psychedelic sound at hundreds of the best Psy-trance festivals and clubs around the globe. He has released four solo and four collaboration albums (three as 'Killerwatts' with Avalon, and one as 'Fearsome Engine' with Laughing Buddha), plus countless singles, remixes, and collaborations with many of the most respected artists in the scene.

Tristan has been a corner-stone of the Psychedelic Trance community since it's inception in the early nineties, spending every season in Goa soaking up the vibe from the source, as well as hosting some of its most happening events. Continually inspired by the psychedelic underground movement, Tristan can be found as often on the dancefloor as behind the decks, proving his boundless enthusiasm and energy for this music and culture is straight from the heart.

Tropic Hotel est un groupe musical formé par Sandra Campas St Jean et Frédéric Jean. Leur musique est imprégnée d'histoires d'amour, notamment celle de Sandra et Frédéric, qui se sont rencontrés en 2014 alors que Sandra était élève au conservatoire de Jazz de Montauban. Leur passion commune pour la bossa nova les réunit chaque week-end dans une cabane isolée où ils jouent de la musique ensemble, nus, et ont un enfant nommé Paloma.

Inspirés par les surréalistes, ils expérimentent des adaptations de textes littéraires en musique, qu'ils appellent des "bossas sourdes". Sandra chante en brésilien tandis que Frédéric interprète en français ce qu'il entend. En 2016, Sandra commence à traduire littéralement des textes brésiliens des années 60, révélant ainsi la poésie brute de ces chansons.

En 2017, ils décident de partager leurs créations sur scène sous le nom de Tropic Hotel. Frédéric propose des arrangements plus électriques, et leur répertoire se dessine progressivement comme un refuge pour ces poèmes d'amour. Ils abandonnent leur cabane pour le Tropic Hotel et commencent à jouer en duo lors de quelques dates à l'automne 2017.

Leur approche singulière sur scène consiste en un face-à-face avec le public, créant ainsi un espace intime qui magnifie les incantations amoureuses de leurs chansons. Tyreek McDole, a 25-year-old Haitian-American vocalist from Florida, is making waves on the New York and international music scenes. His artistry is rooted in the belief that music is the highest form of communication, a powerful tool for healing, reflection, and collective dreaming.

He first gained attention at Jazz at Lincoln Center's 2018 Essentially Ellington Competition, where he was awarded Outstanding Vocalist by Wynton Marsalis. Since then, he’s performed alongside an impressive roster of artists including Rodney Whitaker, Theo Croker, Gary Bartz, Maurice Brown, Joey Alexander, Terri Lyne Carrington, Nicholas Payton, and many others.

Tyreek has appeared at many of the world’s most hallowed stages such as Blue Note New York, Salle Pleyel, Nublu, Dizzy’s Jazz Club, Ronnie Scott’s, Birdland Jazz Club, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, and major international festivals such as the Newport Jazz Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival, Jazz in Marciac, and the Nice Jazz Festival.

In 2023, he won the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition, joining the ranks of standout vocalists like Cyrille Aimee, Lucia Gutierrez Rebolloso, and Samara Joy.
