Ab-Soul, a rapper from Carson, CA, is known for challenging conventional rap narratives with his deep, thought-provoking lyricism and distinctive style. He joined Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) in 2007, where he became part of the acclaimed rap group Black Hippy alongside Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock, and Kendrick Lamar. His music often explores themes of personal hardship, philosophy, and social issues. He launched his career with his debut album, Longterm Mentality, in 2011, and his third album, These Days... (2014), debuted at number 11 on the U.S.Billboard 200.
Soul’s journey has been marked by significant struggles, including being diagnosed with Stevens-Johnson Syndrome at age 10, a condition that severely impacted his vision and skin. In 2012, he endured the devastating loss of his best friend and longtime girlfriend, which profoundly influenced his music and inspired his breakout single, “The Book of Soul” on his sophomore album Control System (2012).

After a six-year hiatus, Ab-Soul returned with Herbert (2022), an album that showcases his vulnerability as he reflects on mental health, grief, resilience, and self-discovery. Fans and critics have praised his growth and authenticity. 

In his latest mixtape Soul Burger (2024), Ab-Soul pays tribute to his childhood best friend, Doe Burger, who passed away in 2021. He had always encouraged him to create more upbeat music for his fans to dance to at shows, so this project serves as a homage to him and a reflection of the music he inspired Soul to make. Throughout the mixtape, Doe serves as a narrator urging Soul to persevere despite his challenges.

Abso, artiste de l'ouest de la France, est connu pour son flow découpant, sa voix unique et son style crossover reggae/dub/hip hop/vapor.
En 2020 c’est sous le nom d’Absollem il remporte le « playground contest » organisé par Fatbabs, beatmaker de Naâman, ce qui lui ouvrira les portes de grandes salles et festivals avec notamment l'Olympia, le Nologo BZH, le Sun Ska ou le Delta Festival.
2023: sa carrière prend une dimension européenne (Italie, Belgique, Suisse) avec plus de trente dates sur l'année !
2024: il se consacre à la réalisation de son premier album « Noisy bag » qu'il auto produit. Huit titres, dont 7 en anglais et 1 en français qui mêlent divers styles musicaux issus de la culture urbaine.
Entouré de beatmakers talentueux, de styles et d’univers différents, il a su exploiter diverses sonorités et mettre en musique les nombreuses idées et émotions qu’il héberge dans sa tête bouillonnante.
Les enregistrements ont eu lieu chez Judi-k (Old Capital Studio) qui a mixé 4 des 8 morceaux de l’album sur des productions de Bearsound et Jka dub. Les mixs des 4 autres morceaux ont été confiés à Nin's (Ohm Sound) notamment sur ses propres productions. Le mastering à quant à
lui été assuré par fédé (Krak in Dub).
De ces collaborations résultent des contrastes saisissant d’originalité où les attitudes, les styles et les techniques s’entrechoquent volontiers pour un album qui se veut complet et précisément vague. « Noisy bag » est un accomplissement pour Abso dans sa quête perpétuelle de créativité.
La structuration du projet a été soutenue par Iwelcom (promotion) NMB booking (tour) et Moon Pearl (management).

Air Traffic Controller have created a place all their own in the indie pop world. 

Serving in the US Navy as an air traffic controller, singer/songwriter Dave Munro sent home demos written during deployment.  This was chapter one for ATC.  In the decade that followed, Dave built a legacy for crafting heartfelt, luscious and genuine indie-folk-pop songs that are timeless and classic. His eponymous solo album, ALESSANDRO “ASSO” STEFANA, is set to release on May 17th by Ipecac Recordings, with PJ Harvey as Executive Producer and contributing quotes for the album.

Alexandra Hamilton-Ayres has a talent for reframing her own emotional processing as vivid storytelling experiences in music. As a BBC R3 “favourite”, she sees merging her film scores and artist work as fundamental to her love of combining sound worlds. Her bold approach uses unique twists of sound design and  recording spaces, away from the conventional, heightening emotions in an original way.

Critiqued to write “arresting compositions that fuse classical instrumentation with electronica” (Uncut Magazine), she won Best Original Feature Film Score in the Music & Sound Awards working with MRI machine sounds for BAFTA Scotland-winning duo Melt The Fly celebrated as an “evocative score” in Empire Magazine. Hamilton-Ayres’ “devastatingly emotional” (The Guardian) debut 2 Years Stranger took us to the hospital bed of her father in a coma, described by BBC Radio 6 Mary Anne Hobbs as “hauntingly beautiful”. Hamilton-Ayres “spacious and dynamic” (CLASH) second album Play Echoes, a collaboration on Nils Frahm’s Leiter, with Her Ensemble at Funkhaus’ iconic Saal 3, said goodbye to her childhood home. Hamilton-Ayres’ third full album Lucid Distance released with Icelandic label INNI, awarded the prestigious PRS Composer fund, is the first ever music recorded in the European Space Agency’s Large European Acoustic Facility.  

In a live setting Hamilton-Ayres improvises based on mood, venue and friends on stage, making each show and tour unique. Her artist recordings and film scores are no different, standing for a moment in time. Her feature score for BAFTA Breakthrough Paul Sng’s BIFA- Longlisted TISH, was celebrated in Screen Daily as “chiming with memories of experiences”. Hamilotn-Ayres’ music has been said to be “worth a second listen” by Mark Kermode.

Hamilton-Ayres has released collaboratively with multiple labels including Nettwerk, Ninja Tune, One Little Independent, Moderna and OPIA, continuing to explore and challenge her sound working with other artists such as James Heather, Hior Chronik, Mara Simpson and Anna Phoebe. She has performed alongside artists such as Talvin Singh OBE, Mara Simpson, and BISHI’s AV installation Reflektions. Aside from the screen and her live shows as a musician, Hamilton-Ayres has written for national touring circus theatre, opera and dance. Her concert commissions include the National Open Youth Orchestra premiering at the Barbican and DONNE Foundation for the Steinway Series at the Royal Albert Hall.

It began 2 years ago. We made a punk-rock band and decided to wear pyjamas on stage, instead of wearing them when we should’ve been at home with the kids or our wives, we chomped out staccato metal and garagemath psychepunk to unsuspecting audiences with our guitars and drums. Founding member Aiden departed from drums and longtime friend and producer Rob took the seat and sweat a lot. We mean a lot - you could fill up three swimming pools with his bodily fluid. We’ve played with our heroes Grandaddy, raised money for Tim Smith from Cardiacs, shared a stage with Sleepy People and Ultrasound and stuck out some music and videos only DIY could do. This is why we needed HYENA INC. a shadowy organisation of creatives, military men, press officers, lovers, psychologists, atheists, Satanists, muslims, photographers, artists, bakers and SuperFans; a task force of the greatest people in the world to jettison us to the dizzying heights of global recognition. We support each other and make magical things happen because the Deathbed is too near to lie on and live a life unloved.

This is not a flash in the pan. Too many bands come and go like politicians these days. New App - New band. New band - new hype. Shouting above the dystopia of modern music, we turn our backs on all that and stomp along our own path, making it as we go. We urge you to do the same, unless you want washing away with everything else. Anchor your heart into the ground, make music nobody might like but you do, be a dick on stage, put on a show. Hailing from Quezon City, Philippines, ALYSON made their way into people’s daily commute playlists with their city pop-infused debut album “DEFINITELY LOVE!”. Since then, the band has consistently been playing live shows, from underground staple Mow’s Bar to Rakrakan Festival 2023. With their uniform suits and fantastic brass section, the band has made it their mission to give audiences a lasting impression with every performance.

Raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Jessica Nwokike aka AMAKA moved to the United States when she was 8 years old with her family. Jessica always loved music from an early age and going to a performing arts school in Southern California fueled that passion even further. As she got older, she began to take singing and creating more seriously. Along with her sister they created the group, VanJess. Starting small on YouTube, the group was eventually discovered by Tunji Balogun and signed to Keep Cool. With Tunji’s backing they toured the world, received nominations and awards, and released 2 albums + 2 deluxe albums and a host of features including one that got them on Kaytranada's Grammy winning album. AMAKA is now venturing off into new territories and beginning her solo career as her sister steps away from music. As a true fan of music, she is taking her R&B roots and mixing it with her love for genre blending in this new era. Kicking things off, she's linked up with frequent collaborator Kaytranada for a project perfect for the summer, “Oasis”.

Amakuno (Aniss Belkadi) is a young (19 y.o.) French-Algerian composer based in Paris. He studied cinema at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and film scoring at the New-York University (NYU Film Scoring Workshop 2019). His mentors include Mark Snow, Michael A. Levine, Mark Suozzo and Béatrice Thiriet among many others. His work has been compared to Béla Bartók and Igor Stravinsky by L.A. based composer Michael A. Levine (Cold Case, Pirates of the Carribean…) and have been defined as “brillant” and “extremely gifted” by César-nominated French composer Béatrice Thiriet. He is currently studying Film Scoring at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, being the youngest admitted ever in the Film Composition department while working on numerous projects. 

Aniss’ music draws inspirations from Stravinsky and Vivaldi to Max Richter and Ryuichi Sakamoto. His musical style could be defined as a subtle sense of melancholia and clarity.

When he’s not composing Aniss plays the piano and the violin, writes/directs short films and paints terribly.

Amanati is an artist and musician, hailing from the island of Crete in Greece. Started studying music theory and classical piano from the age of 8, later on Amanati developed a passion for electronic music and club culture from his teenage years, which would later play a significant role, blending with his classical music background but also with Greek folk influences, into shaping his sound.

Following his passion for electronic music, Amanati started learning how to produce music at the age of 17, a few years after his first encounters with DJing, mainly at friend’s birthday parties as a 14 year old boy. Using different stage names through the spectrum of House, Progressive and Techno genres, Amanati released more than 50 singles and performed as a DJ in Greece, Netherlands and Belgium till the age of 31, when he decided to move on to something new, that would represent his vision in terms of sound and visuals without limitations, best described today as Exotic Electronic Music.

Amanati has become a figure of mystery in the eyes of the public, emphasizing in the idea that gender, race, ethnicity and appearance, are not defining the artist or human. Amanati’s sound has become a symbol of creative power, raw expression, sensuality and freedom, being embraced by pole and fusion dancers, movement artists, and music lovers all around the world.

Alternative R&B artist Amaria has a modern sound that builds on the mellow yet engrossing aspects of neo-soul, as mastered by the likes of Erykah Badu and Sade. The Tampa native made her debut on New Year's Day 2020 with the self-produced "Morning," a confident first step from the then-teenaged singer. A steady flow of singles and collaborations, along with 2021 EP Bittersweet, and 2022 EP All For You have followed since then.

Guidée par l'improvisation et la mélodie, la jeune chanteuse Amaurie pratique une pop urbaine hybride. Installée à Paris, elle prépare un nouvel EP produit par les multi-instrumentistes Monomite (Nekfeu, Jazzy Bazz), Saintard (Enchantée Julie, Prince Waly), Sutus (Joanna) et le new-yorkais Mindchatter.

Élevée par une famille de musiciens, Amaurie intègre à huit ans le Conservatoire de Bagneux en piano. Plus tard, elle apprend la guitare aux côtés de son père et joue ses premières compositions en concert. À vingt ans, elle rejoint le Conservatoire de jazz du Grand Avignon et l’AJMI, empoche entre temps son diplôme de communication au Celsa et intègre la prestigieuse classe de la chanteuse de jazz américaine Sara Lazarus au conservatoire du 6e arrondissement parisien. Elle y perfectionne sa voix et son rapport à l’improvisation, pour alimenter sa rythmique et ses mélodies. 
Parallèlement, elle travaille dans la production cinématographique et accompagne des films comme Au Poste de Quentin Dupieux, Comment c’est loin d’Orelsan ou encore Yves Saint-Laurent de Jalil Lespert. Par ce biais, elle approfondit son lien à l’écriture et développe sa faculté à bâtir un univers et raconter des histoires.

Amaurie foule la scène avec un looper en guise de formation musicale. Son parcours l’ayant dotée d’un sens de l’improvisation vocale et du récit, elle crée d’innombrables mélodies a cappella. Aujourd’hui, sa signature chez le label Ænvers l’aide à leur donner vie. Les producteurs de son premier EP composent directement à partir de ses textes et mélodies.

Abordant l’art comme un moyen de résoudre des tensions, Amaurie utilise sa voix pour transmettre des émotions et sa plume pour pointer les frustrations quotidiennes. Évoquant des problématiques universelles par le prisme de l’intime, la musique d’Amaurie est à la fois envoûtante et insaisissable.

London based writer, composer and producer Colin Baldry's 15 piece contemporary jazz orchestra. 

With a highly accomplished career in music - writing and producing for iconic labels like RCA, Geffen, Motown, Virgin & Capitol Records, whilst arranging and conducting The BBC Concert Orchestra and The City Of Prague Philharmonic, Baldry’s expansive experience has in result meant a bigger approach to ideas. With access to working with world-class orchestras, he has been able to create large-scale epic arrangements, which has no doubt furthered his talent for emotive, cinematic compositions. For example, his previous release ‘Breathe It In’, inspired by the film 'Into The Wild' was based on the true story of Christopher McCandless and his quest to live life off the grid. 

Often described as ‘storytelling', Baldry himself regards AJE’s musical output as the painting of a scene not unlike the role of a film score. 

Although Ambient Jazz Ensemble’s brand of cinematic jazz perhaps lies somewhere between nu-jazz contemporary jazz & ambient electronica, the live ensemble sound retains an experimental approach as a melting pot, and so continues to be on the fringes of several musical styles championed by the likes of Gilles Peterson, Jamie Cullum, Hospital Records and Cafe Del Mar. 

AJE's influences stem from old soul records with a cinematic approach: Marvin Gaye’s Trouble Man, Marlena Shaw’s California Soul, Curtis Mayfield, Minnie Ripperton, Bacharach recordings - ‘a broad palette of sounds utilising strings, brass, wind & rhythm section’; as well as early Weather Report records and genre-defying Jaga Jazzist.

Amusement Parks On Fire first came to prominence in 2004 with the release of the eponymous debut album, conceived and consummated by the then-adolescent founder Michael Feerick and phonically actualised on a shoestring. Issued on Geoff Barrow (of Portishead)’s Invada label, it was described by the then-relevant New Musical Express as "hedonistic teenage genius" and saw itself projected onto the planetary meta-retina.

A live line-up was essentially preformed and extensively performed with the likes of Dinosaur Jr, The Flaming Lips, M83 and dEUS among innumerable other acts of the era. The unit then retreated to Sigur Rós’ private swimming-pool sanctuary Sundlaugin in Mosfellsbær, Iceland to complete the venturesome sophomore release 'Out Of The Angeles', during which time they experimented with sleep, sustenance and sunlight deprivation at the insistence of V2 Records.

After several years of international incidence the band crash-landed in Los Angeles in 2009 to make 'Road Eyes' with producers Michael Patterson (Beck, Nine Inch Nails) and Nicolas Jodoin (Arcade Fire, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club). Again inspired by the locale, the collection was intended as 'a skewed Californian contemporary-classical' with Alternative Press characterising it as "sun-drenched, challenging and gratifying… a near-perfect album".

After an 88 month moratorium the band returned in November 2017 with a new single 'Our Goal To Realise' and coinciding UK live performances, followed swiftly in April 2018 with the concept EP 'All The New Ends' and a concert tour of mainland Europe. Work is now underway on their forthcoming fourth coming album 'An Archaea', materialising in 2020.

She taught herself guitar at the age of 17 and has been writing her own music for seven years. She is also an avid gamer and has voiced characters in 14 video games. She streams weekly to her 22,000 Twitch followers. Working closely and collaboratively with her producer Tom E Morrison, they spend as much time in the studio as they can and maintain a fun and experimental way of recording. Together they enjoy multi-layering voice and instruments to create a unique blend of genres that give Anna Demetriou's music its distinctive sound. Since releasing his first album, SILICOM, in 2001, he’s worked internationally as a producer, live performer, and DJ.
Between 2004-2011, he was based in Europe before returning to Japan in 2011. Since then he has done several remixes for both international and domestic artists, undertaking the production and mixing as well.

Ariel J. was born in Jackson, Mississippi, on August 31, 2000. She grew up surrounded by music, singing at home with her family, in church, and at school. D’abord cantonné aux 9m2 de sa chambre et à ses expérimentations solitaires, le jeune suisse part aujourd’hui à l’aventure en compagnie du compositeur BlackDoe (Dadju, Tayc, Iseult, Aupinard…). Ensemble, ils ont produit un album intitulé 'Été sans fin' sorti le 29 mars dernier.

Avant ça, Arma Jackson s’est fait connaître pour différents faits d’armes. Artiste masculin de l’année aux Swiss Music Awards 2021 (l’équivalent de nos victoires de la musique), sa musique a été validée par Omar Sy, Antoine Griezmann, Tayc, Josman ou encore Jok’air. Une musique au groove imparable qui séduit une audience toujours plus large au fil des sorties. Deux EP (‘9m2’ en 2019 et ‘Capsules’ en 2019) et un album (‘Idéal’ en 2021) pour être précis, des projets produits en autodidacte depuis sa chambre et sa ville natale de Lausanne. 

Sur ce second album, le résultat est une petite bombe de groove. It’s hard to believe that it has been 25 years since Atlantis released their first track! 
Atlantis are UK trance artists George Winkworth (AKA Slipstream), Paul Kershaw &amp; Lloyd Horton. The band formed in 1998, at Subterrania studio in the basement of their shop - Subterrania records in Leamington Spa. After a catastrophic flood wiped out the studio and everything in it that spring, the studio was rebuilt and in taking inspiration from the previously submerged space, the name Atlantis was adopted for the newly formed act. Fiji was the first track to be written and they would go on to create some very well loved productions, including Voyager II, Vengeance, Neurofun, Virus and more.

25 years on and what better way to mark the occasion than to release a vinyl record with 3 modern interpretations of some of those classics, remixed by some of the most talented underground trance producers currently out there, plus a brand new release from George under his Slipstream alias. From the small town of Odder, Denmark, the 26-year-old producer has quietly become one of the more widely recognized instrumental hip-hop artists in the online beat scene. He’s dropped over ninety songs, four albums and several EP’s, and racked up millions of plays on streaming services in the process. And that’s not to mention his successful stints both as a music curator on Spotify and YouTube as well as his A&R work for Stereofox Records as well as other prominent labels in the beat scene.

Axian’s music bucks many of lo-fi hip-hop’s clichés: the overuse of the same few samples, the 45-second songs, and the splicing of cartoon dialogue onto beats. His sound - while undeniably influenced by lo-fi - is built off denser, more melodic samples, punchier, more organic drums - as well as his instrumentation, involving Rhodes keys, synths, guitars or horns. He wouldn’t draw attention to himself though; in his words, “my work to support and grow the scene is what matters most to me. I make music as a hobby because I enjoy it and I would never compromise it for anything”.

Mero)” ihre erste #1 Platzierung und damit einer der erfolgreichsten Songs des vergangenen Jahres. Es folgten weitere Single-Veröffentlichungen (darunter “Weisses Haus”), welche allesamt in den Top10 der Single-Charts landeten. Am 25. August 2023 gelang ihr dann der große Coup: Ihr zweites Studioalbum landete auf #1 der Album-Charts und brach auf Anhieb diverse Rekorde - So ist “Schwarzes Herz” unter anderem mit über 275 Mio Streams das meistgestreamte Album des Jahres 2023. Mit den Veröffentlichungen „Lieb mich“ und der aktuellen Kollabo-Single „Wunder“, zusammen mit Apache 207 konnte AYLIVA zuletzt in 2024 weitere #1-Single-Erfolge feiern! Standard love songs are far from the be-all, end-all for progressive R&B artist Azekel. A ruminative songwriter, the Nigeria-born, England-based musician has examined issues such as adulthood and identity, self-worth and depression, and the responsibilities of parenthood, all the while developing a fearlessly vulnerable singing technique that doesn't rely on his potent falsetto. Azekel generated momentum during the mid-2010s with a slew of early, short-form releases that earned the admiration of Prince and led to collaborations with Massive Attack ("Ritual Spirit") and Gorillaz ("Momentz"). The advancements culminated in 2018 with the release of his self-released debut album, Our Father. Azekel is currently working on his new EP, executively produced by Om'Mas Keith.
