Eleven songs, recorded in four days at RAK Studios with producer Morgan Fraser Jones. Preen have created the truest expression of what it means when they play music together in a room. No single-tracking, no metronomes, minimal overdubs and light-touch mixing. The band’s three-part harmonies, which are the sonic core of their sound, were recorded stood next to each other and are inseparable in the takes. In a world where what is true and what is artificial is increasingly questioned, this album is as close as it comes to being in the room with Preen, hearing them listen and react to each other in real time.
