Romain Humeau n’est pas un oiseau de passage, il tient plutôt du calcaire du Lot : il est ici depuis longtemps, et là pour un moment.
Romain Humeau a posé Eiffelgroupe pour mieux tracer chemin solo, poursuivre une route née sentier il y a plus de trente ans : celle d’un Eiffel projet de vie, celui d’un auteur solitaire ouvert à tous les vents solaires, mais en contrôle de ses choix, dans la maîtrise de ses rêves.
French rock band EIFFEL were founded by Romain and Estelle Humeau in 1998. After the release of a first 1999 EP (L'Affaire), the band was spotted by producer Bertrand Burgalat, seeking a backing band for French writer Michel Houellebecq's 1999 music project. Gaining a larger following and more exposure over the years, EIFFEL released two albums (2001's L'Abricotine and 2002's Le Quart d'Heure des Ahuris) before Romain Humeau took some time off to record a solo project. EIFFEL returned as a band with a new EP, Ma Part d'Ombre, in 2006 and a new album, Tandoori, in 2007. The full-length À Tout Moment arrived in 2009, followed by Foule Monstre in 2012 and now by Stupor Machine in 2019 !
