Painting from a palette of bold and slightly macabre, Pearly Drops’ Sandra Tervonen and Juuso Malin are creating a world of strange and softly smudged pop music. Call For Help, their breakthrough debut album is finally going to be released on vinyl by Diggers Factory. In addition, the release is a deluxe version including one new song, various merch, and a short film. The series of releases follows their 2023 sophomore album and an EP on Cascine Records.

The pair first gained attention with their unique, softly smudged sound, blending elements of dreamier Indie Pop and contemporary electronic music. Known for their ethereal vocals, lush vintage soundscapes, and emotive lyrics, Pearly Drops craft a sonic experience that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking.

Sandra and Juuso, both with backgrounds in music production and a shared passion for innovation, formed Pearly Drops after previously collaborating on award-winning music and sound design projects. Their debut album, "Call For Help," released in 2020, introduced audiences to their distinct style, characterized by shimmering melodies and introspective themes. The album was well-received for its palette of bold, slightly macabre and the duo's ability to create immersive musical narratives.

Press pics, styling and other aesthetic items are created by the band too. And while Pearly Drops might be a new name to many, Sandra and Juuso are an accomplished double-act. Alongside their own productions, the label owners and artists have worked and provided compositions to acts including Dream, Ivory, Nourished by Time and Vitesse X. They’ve earned golden and platinum records for their work with others and have been awarded the Teosto Prize – one of the Nordic countries’ most prestigious symbols of recognition.
