Don't Take Me Out Before My Prime is Flugel's third full-length album written by Tommy Moore. All tracks were written at Tommy's home studio in Belmont Cragin, Chicago. Like previous Flugel recordings, the feelgood sonic nature of the songs is an antithesis to the subject matter. Tommy delves into themes of aging, regret, and interacting with a waning natural world.

Flugel is Tommy Moore (guitars, vocals), Kyle Therriault (drums), Michael Grathwohl (pianos and keyboards), Tibor Tapiansuri (guitar), Luc Parcell (bass). Additional personnel include Steve Pardo (woodwinds and brass), Packy Lundholm (pedal steel, production, mixing), and Noam Wallenberg (mastering).
