Chet Porter - EVERYTHING YOU'VE EVER SEEN

my debut album “EVERYTHING YOU’VE EVER SEEN” is finally coming out 03/15 (holy shit). it's been a long road to get here as i'm sure most of you know. anyways, the label doesn't want to pay for vinyl and it's too expensive to make them myself, therefore... we must crowdsource! i've dreamed of having an album of mine on vinyl for probably half of my life now, but most importantly i just want those who are interested to be able to own it for themselves. for those who don't know, “EVERYTHING YOU’VE EVER SEEN” is my first real body of work and i really only gave myself two rules: 1. make something that i love and would want to listen to, and 2. create an album that was diverse, while simultaneously trying to make it feel consistent. there are house moments, trap moments, ambient, indie electronic, progressive house… but i think you can tell/feel they all came from the same person. i just love all kinds of electronic music and i really wanted to showcase that

this album represents experiences and just seeing what the world has to offer. like we’ve got volcanoes... huge mountains with holes in them that will just shoot lava out of the top one day? that’s insane. i need to see that before i die. i sort of made all of these soundscapes with things like that in mind. some songs make me think of snorkling with dolphins in the ocean, others remind me of being in the jungle, or on a little wooden boat in thailand looking at the scenery or something. i just think there are so many things to see. don’t you want to see them all?
