Collaboration between Jean-Benoit (AIR) and Jonathan Fitoussi. Spawning from Xavier Veilhan’s Studio Venezia at the 57th Venice Biennale and completing in JB’s studio in Paris.
Jean-Benoît Dunckel, a mathematician studying in Versailles (France), first began a working partnership with Nicolas Godin in the indie band Orange. When Orange failed to make headway, the two continued working together as Air, specializing in retro-flavored electronic music. Jonathan Fitoussi is a French composer residing in Paris. His solo works in recent years have explored a fusion of electronic and acoustic sounds with melodic textures, colors and emotions in a cinematographic aesthetic style.
