At the intersection of past and present, Jean-Benoît Dunckel whisks us away to a universe beyond time through his homage to the first electronic explorations of audio and music.
Festival Inasound, palais Brongniart, Paris 2019: Jean-Benoît Dunckel, cofounder of the legendary band Air, is releasing a never-before-seen life performance. Inspired by an archive screening about the birth of electronic music, JB Dunckel improvises, solo, with analog synthesizers taken from his private collection for the occasion. He creates innovative music inspired by the National Audiovisual Institute (INA) archives that evolves through contemporary views into a comforting world of dreams.
