Description

"Globo is a synthesis of what I live daily, indeed it represents this winter '22-23”, says the artist. "It was entirely produced by Disse and it’s possible to find some of our main influences in it, from classic 90s boom bap to dnb uk, always keeping a jazz line at the harmonies level. The 'globe' encompasses my city, my friends, family and the people I connect with, from my own point of view. Each person has their own globe that is their own personal sphere of experiences, so my goal with this project was to tell a part of it to anyone who is up to listen."

A musical journey, that of the Ticino-based artist, anticipated by the singles "Mikado," "Globo" and "Uno9999," which brought us into Ele A's world, a dimension of rhyme joints over beats that ooze old school hip-hop.

Ele A, also known simply as Ele, was born in 2002 in Lugano, where she was raised. Funambulist. Just like a Nokia 3310 coming from the future. Everything known about her can be found in the barrage of bars released one by one on her Instagram profile and on YouTube: freestyle on oldschool or pop bases (from Wiz Khalifa to Walking On A Dream by Empire Of The Sun). Her street pop taste actually hides her love for the rap aestethic, and a pure motto: “everyone uses music for something else, but to me it's actually the ultimate goal”. In June 2022 she released her first Ep, Zerodue Demo, a self-produced record, distributed exclusively in physical format, during a long summer tour of over 20 dates, which took her to prestigious stages in Italy and abroad, from Mi Ami Fest in Milan to Budapest’s Sziget Festival. In November she officially debuted on streaming platforms with her first single Mikado, followed by Globo. She was recently chosen by French saxophonist Laurent Bardainne for the song "C'est la vie."
