Deadbeat and Paul St. Hilaire are releasing a new collaborative album this summer.
4 Quarters Of Love And Modern Lash is the second full-length from the dub duo, who have been working together since 2008. Their debut joint album, The Infinity Dub Sessions, came out in 2014. The new LP, which spans four tracks, will be available digitally and on vinyl from June 12th via Parisian label Another Moon.
"I wrote the initial sketches for what would eventually become this new album over the course of last year to a large extent as a way of trying to process what I perceived as a creeping darkness and sickness in both my own life and the world in general that desperately needed exorcising," Deadbeat says. "When I received [Paul's] initial responses I nearly fell off my chair."
French Label recently created in 2020 by the founder of Diggers Factory. Our goal is to share music we like and artists we want to push on the international scene. Most of our releases will be electronic music but without a specific genre. Could be techno, house, ambient, D&B... Next release in April 2020 with a really nice artist.
