This is some jazz music written for my deceased father. He loved jazz, most notably Wes Montgomery, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane were his favorites. I always wanted to write music that he would have liked. It is also a tale of one night of romance with a handsome rodeo cowboy, who I consider a dad-like figure, he gave me great advice on my 26th birthday. I released the first version on Valentine's Day 2019, this version is 100,000 times better though.
I previously released this music using different equipment, without guitars, it sounded good but dry. Now I have better equipment and instruments and decided to update the songs. Adding spaced out guitars with my two electric guitars, Fender Strat and Dean Flying V.
Used vintage-sounding instruments to get classic electric piano sounds and humanized the velocities.
It now sounds like a dream. I also sweetened the drums made them sound more realistic.
Pretty sure they would both love it, as I pushed myself beyond my perceived limits. This deserves to be on vinyl. Mastered with E-master.
