Grammy-winning recording artist and producer RAC’s unique discography impressively navigates the worlds of dance, indie, and electronic. Based in Portland, Oregon, RAC (né: André Anjos) rose to prominence while at college by remixing iconic artists such as Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Lana Del Rey, and Phoenix. Attracting the attention of Interscope Records, he released his debut LP Strangers in 2014, which featured collaborations with Tegan & Sara, St. Lucia and more. EGO followed three years later on Counter Records, becoming the first album to be released on the Ethereum network, and featured Rivers Cuomo, Rostam and others. In 2020, RAC released, BOY , his third album, and the accompanying $TAPE project, widely considered to be the first successful music-based NFT. The album features the hit collaboration “Passion” with Louis the Child. Launching his own $RAC token alongside his albums, Forbes, Billboard, and Rolling Stone have all recognised his expertise and pioneering work within the Web3 space. RAC’s music has been streamed over a billion times and has resulted in performances at Coachella, Corona Capital, and Lollapalooza.
