Bren Joy

Bren Joy was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, and started writing music at the start of 2018. Joy takes pride in imperfection, pointing to the raw, organic nature of East Coast artistry as inspiration for his instrumental landscape. He gathers collaborators, namely in the folk, alt and jazz houses, to blend with his Alt-R&B nature. These varying dynamics mimic the different aspects of love Joy explores, each eventually pointing to the importance of self discovery. Love, in any instance––whether a beautiful or difficult experience––ultimately manifests itself as an important learning curve.
