Takara is an Australian-born, Chicago-built, LA-based independent afrornb artist. After a lifetime of not seeing herself represented in the Australian music industry, she packed up and took a huge leap of faith all the way to The States and began releasing music. Independently, Takara has amassed over 400 MILLION views on IG alone (@takarathekoala) while securing 500,000+ followers across platforms (IG,YT,TT, Spotify) since the release of her debut album ‘Kinda Messy’ in 2022, and her follow up alum 'Moondust' in 2024.
