Mighty Glad

Mighty Glad began when Rocco DeLuca & Johnny Shepherd met & performed together with The Hallelujah Train in New York City in 2015. Rocco & Johnny's meeting resulted in a collaboration released in 2020 under the title Heavy Sun. DeLuca & Shepherd then formed Mighty Glad and recorded a live record at Chris Rondinella's Heritage Recording Co. in Los Angeles. The ensemble included Seth Ford-Young, Ryan Carman, Dylan Day and Lucas Guerin. This is soul music driven by hymnal singing, steel guitar & hammond organ, with other devotional influences. The blended voices of Johnny Shepherd & Rocco DeLuca becomes its own unique instrument. A search for strength in hard times; to shine a light into darkness. A prayer in the night. The message is an open door; all are welcome.
