Following a strong year that saw his Instagram grow to 197k followers, Tiktok to over 100k, and Spotify to over 1M monhtly listeners, Jafunk returns with his third EP, 'Golden Hour'. A groovy continuation of his signature disco-funk sound that taps into the feel good, positive vibes of 1970s smooth jazz and jazz fusion.
Set to release October 14th, 'Golden Hour' builds on the momentum of his 2025 EP 'Classic' while developing his sonic palette and musical ability even further. Having spent the past year refining his musical ability, and collaborating with some of the worlds best musicians, Jafunk delivers a feel good record that channels the spirit of smooth jazz artists like George Benson, and jazz fusion legend Masayoshi Takanaka.
Featuring collaborations with some of the rising stars of soul music including Otis Kane, Gareth Donkin, Stefan Mahendra and more, 'Golden Hour' pairs well crafted arrangements and tight rhythm sections with infectious hooks and world-class musicianship. Drawing inspiration from the analog warmth of classic records while embracing contemporary production techniques, the project captures Jafunk’s unmistakable funky touch with a fresh sonic palette.
