The Poolrooms Experience is a collection of original ambient compositions by Pedro Rousseau, inspired by the strange beauty of the Poolrooms: a world of still water, artificial light, and seemingly infinite architecture.
Blending atmospheric synthesizers, dreamy textures, and haunting melodies, the album explores the quiet, nostalgic, and sometimes unsettling feeling of being somewhere that exists outside of time.
For the first time, this musical universe comes to vinyl, featuring a blue vinyl record and a gatefold sleeve designed to reflect the atmosphere of the Poolrooms.
Pedro Rousseau is a French musician, composer and producer, also known for his indie rock project Fresh Body Shop, whose music has been featured in numerous television series, including Dexter, Shameless and Tell Me Lies.
Alongside his rock productions, he explores atmospheric and ambient music, creating immersive soundscapes inspired by dreamlike spaces, nostalgia and the mysterious world of the Poolrooms.
With The Poolrooms Experience, he brings this musical universe to vinyl for the first time, offering a collection of original compositions designed to evoke the strange beauty and tranquility of these imaginary places.
