The Vanished People is an independent music project from Lanciano, Italy, founded in 2022 by Jacopo Maria Gaeta and Piero Bonanni. They debuted with AWAKE and gained wider attention when Castaway (2023) went viral on TikTok.
They released the EP School Trip (2023) and DESKTOP MUSIC 101 (2025), collaborating with artists such as Max Ionata, Lotus Juice, and Hashimero, and contributing to the games Reverse:1999 and Wuthering Waves.
Their style blends J-Pop, K-Pop, Indie Rock, Progressive Rock, Funk, and R&B, paired with a distinctive visual aesthetic.
