Yassin Keetan unveils FRAGMENT, his debut album composed of twelve tracks, including songs in French and English as well as instrumental pieces.
The album's structure unfolds like an initiatory journey, following a young modern man navigating a world marked by uncertainty. Themes of grief, love, war, and exile shape the emotional rhythm of this inner exploration.
FRAGMENT also forms the core of an ongoing interdisciplinary stage project — a solo performance that brings together music, theater, dance, circus arts, and video projection. While each track stands as an independent musical piece, they also interact within an immersive dramaturgical framework that extends the album's universe onto the stage.
Sonically, Yassin Keetan develops the electronic language introduced in his EP The Warm Presence of the Absent, here enriched with sung pop elements and more experimental directions. Each composition marks a point in a broader transformation process, contributing to an album that is both intimate and cinematographic.
The sound of FRAGMENT was crafted in collaboration with sound engineer Clément Roussel, with four tracks co-produced alongside Aerds.
With FRAGMENT, Yassin Keetan offers a hybrid work where music and storytelling merge into a singular, immersive experience.
