Featuring legendary artists such as Sizzla, Capleton, Luciano, Lutan Fyah, Chezidek, Turbulence, Fantan Mojah, Peetah Morgan, Bugle, Agent Sasco (Assassin), Eesah, and Jah Mason, the album also bridges continents with the presence of UK veteran Brother Culture, symbolizing unity across generations and borders.

Each track tells its own story — rooted in real-life struggles, faith, and upliftment — recorded and produced by Derrick Sound himself.
The powerful anthem "Bla Bla Bla" by Lutan Fyah, recorded in Spanish Town, delivers a raw and honest reflection on Jamaica’s social reality after the Covid-19 crisis — the people’s frustration with political promises and the rising cost of living. With over 4 million streams, the track stands as a voice for truth and resilience.

In "Jah Is Always Near", reggae icon Sizzla offers a deeply spiritual piece recorded by Derrick Sound at the artist’s own Judgment Yard studio in August Town. The song speaks of faith as a guiding force that helps us overcome adversity and stay grounded.

The album’s title track, "Upliftment", a collaboration between Bugle and Agent Sasco (Assassin), captures the essence of the project: a message of hope, solidarity, and positive energy — encouraging listeners to lift each other up and strive for a better life.

Another standout track, "Badda We Badda", unites Eesah and Brother Culture — two close friends of Derrick Sound and the Evidence Music label, representing different generations and nations, Jamaica and the UK. Recorded at Evidence Music Studios in Geneva, Switzerland, the song has already become a reggae/dancehall anthem, surpassing one million streams with its infectious hook and signature vibe.
