This 7 song project is a deeply personal offering at the altar of the streets, filled with truth, art, luxurious grime, delicate wordplay and hip-hop soul.
The artwork reflected is that of a young Keisha Plum, on her actual prom night, in Buffalo, NY, many, many moons ago, unaware of where her talents would lead her to one day.
On this EP, she pays homage to her birthplace and the stomping grounds where she first began developing a pure love for writing, calmly embracing the environment surrounding her and finding beauty within the gritty of her city.

Keisha Plum, born and raised in Buffalo, NY, is the brilliant poet, spoken word recording artist and Griselda Records affiliate, most known for her works alongside rapper Westside Gunn. Known for her powerful sultry voice yet dark prose, Keisha Plum's niche writing blends thought provoking imagery, iconic culture references and poetic intimacy like no one else in the game. Plum has proven her writing is incredibly unique, as she has garnered fans from all over the globe, solely off her featured appearances within a 13 year span. The level of art she has provided from composition to compostion proves that she is one of the most versatile poets within the hiphop landscape and beyond.
Keisha Plum has recently released her debut of sorts, an Extended Play, TROUBLE, where she steps out front as an artist in full confidence. The project was written, curated and executive produced by Plum, and is only the beginning for her as she embarks to prep for an official album release, TBA.
