The wordWizard, also known as Abyss the Word Wizard, had a challenging journey from facing bullying in his youth to struggling with addiction and instability. Despite these obstacles, he made a name for himself in the hip-hop scene and continued to write and record music.
After a period of incarceration, he focused on family life and adopted a new philosophy. Today, as The wordWizard, he embraces a new persona and continues to create music.
The wordWizard, born Christopher Alan McReynolds, grew up in Europe and then moved to North Syracuse, NY. He faced bullying and turned to music for comfort. After leaving high school, he got a GED, joined the Army, and was accepted to West Point, where he developed his persona as Abyss the Word Wizard.
