Originally hailing from the suburbs of Boston, DJ Grumble has been active as a hip-hop DJ & producer for over 20 years, while simultaneously earning a PhD in chemistry and developing several new medicines to treat cancer. Grumble first gained recognition for his "Freestyle Tools" series of instrumental mixtapes which made their debut on YouTube and DatPiff.com in the late 2000s. Since then, he has released over a dozen instrumental albums that have cumulatively amassed over 50 million streams, helping him build a worldwide following of hip-hop lovers.
