"What Came Before" is a collection of the back catalog from John's solo career spanning from 2012 to 2022 prior to forming Roots Reverie. It was recorded featuring various musicians on drums and bass, produced entirely DIY and released at separate times over a decade in the music industry. The collection of songs has been remixed and remastered, and is now available on all streaming networks as well as vinyl.
