Après "120 Battements par minute", qui lui avait valu de remporter en 2017 le Grand prix du jury au Festival de Cannes, Robin Campillo puise dans ses souvenirs d'enfance pour nous emmener à Madagascar au tournant des années 1960-1970, où les militaires vivent les dernières années du colonialisme.
