Description
"Sahar" is the second project of the producer Kino Doscun, in collaboration with Youthie : the two musicians get together in an instrumental Psydub album, with multiple influences.
Kino Doscun works on the fusion of oriental instruments with experimental sound design and dub grooves. He plays Oud and Saz on his own productions, from deep psychedelic dub to more energetic midtempo grooves.
Youthie brings her universe with the sound of her flute, trumpet and accordion; from balkan music to tango, she mixes dub with many world music influences.
They have already collaborated on their respective projects: Kino Doscun's album "Sabir", released in 2021 on Merkaba Music, and Youthie's album "The Roots Explorers" released in 2022 on her label Youthie Records.
They perform regularly at festivals, including Ozora, Hadra, Nataraja and Dubcamp festival in 2022.
