Cruentus - Fossilized

Hailing from Norrköping, Sweden, Cruentus is a powerful force in the world of death metal. Established in 1998 by founding members Martin Öhman and Petter Bocian, the band draws inspiration from the legendary Scandinavian extreme metal scene, citing influences such as Edge of Sanity, Dissection, Entombed, At the Gates, Amorphis, and Dark Tranquillity. This formidable foundation has helped shape the distinct and unrelenting sound that Cruentus is known for today.

In 2022, Cruentus unveiled their highly anticipated second album, "Fossilized." Recorded at Deathskull Studio E, the album was expertly mixed by Tomas Skogsberg at the famed Sunlight Studios. Skogsberg, renowned for his work with iconic bands such as Entombed and Dismember, captured the quintessential Stockholm Death Metal Sound that has become synonymous with Cruentus' sonic identity.

Once again, the band enlisted the artistic talents of William Persson Öberg (Creeping Flesh) of Obscenum Art to create the striking cover art for "Fossilized."
