The pseudonym for songwriter and critically acclaimed film director, Nick Hampson, Now Ex is multi dimensional pop that was built for the big screen. Nick’s films, the most recent of which was nominated for an Emmy award in 2021, have a lot in common with his music - they both create and explore parallel worlds that are one moment laced with painful euphoria, and the next flowing with an infectious lust for life. It’s character driven, emotional stadium pop that traverses eras, geographical landscapes and social boundaries, moving from urban metropolises to the barren flyover states.
