Every-Road is the very first project of the guitarist and the producer Moogisha. This project is the result of a long creative work of artistic freedom. There are many ways to dive into this EP. It's a project composed of 4 tracks with different atmospheres but where we can recognize the sound coherence of the young artist's guitar.
Every-Road is also the first track of the EP, a piece halfway between hip-hop and neo soul. After this first track there is I took too long in collaboration with the young Antwerp artist Dalliance. It’s the first time the guitarist decided to blend the sound of his instrument with a voice: this gives an aerial dimension to the pop and RnB vibe already present in the track.
Kunta is the third track on the EP, with some afrobeat influences. The name of this piece is inspired by the heroic character Kunta from Alex Haley's novel Roots, the story of a Gambian who was enslaved by the Americans in the 18th century. The hero of this fiction fights for his rights and freedom. The final track of the project is Learning to fly. This piece brings the listener into a jazz and RnB universe. The listener is carried away by the magical harmonic dissonance and by the peaceful feeling of freedom of the song.
This first EP with a groovy and chill vibe mixes different artistic and musical inspirations. This is what makes Moogisha’s music unique.
