Description

Ouska is a prolific drummer, audio engineer, DJ & beatmaker emerging from the boiling French producers' scene. Gathering nearly 7M streams on his track ‘Alive’, he has rapidly built a name for himself in the chill-hop scene. Running between Nantes and Paris, his music takes roots from hip-hop, lo-fi, electronic, jazz, soul or afro latin music and is strongly influenced by legends of the scene like J Dilla, Madlib, Nujabes, Kaytranada or Todd Terje. His album "Expressions" is an invitation to dream and travel, a lift to the ambient spectrum. The Parisian beatmaker begins with smooth sounds of nature, followed by a playful beat and a melodic guitar that will unwind your soul.

Hip Dozer is a collective of diggers and producers reunited around their shared passion for Hip Hop and old-school beat-making. The Hip Dozer Odyssey started in 2014 when one member of the French Délicieuse Musique crew set its first stone with the release of SoulChef's LP "Good Vibes". It received appraisal from French legend IAM, Cut Killer, Jazz Liberatorz and remixes from German producer Flofilz. Back then, underground hip-hop was a confidential but steady community, that our team embraced with a deep love and respect for its original spirit of self-consciousness and exploration. Taking its influence from the heavyweights of now-classic French acts (Supreme NTM, MC Solaar, etc.) and exploring the paths of lyrical phenomenons such as Common Sense, Mos Def, or Guru, Hip Dozer holds high the flag of this ever-evolving music.
