M.U.D.K.I.D.S. was/is a collective of young men from the DC region that love hip hop in its purest form and was raised to respect it not only ‘do’ it. They fell in love with the hardest elements of it and often performed only the most skillfully crafted rhymes over hard futuristic boombap beats. What Is The D.U.S.T. Prophecy:
The D.U.S.T. Prophecy (Desolate Underground Street Truths) is an underground release considered CLASSIC by many a true school hip hop head that owns, seeks or has heard about the project since its inception in 1994. The project took upwards of 3 years to complete and was released in 1997 with a limited print out and one solitary music video. The single (Sundown b/w Dirty) and subsequent LP went on to be sought out by rabid fans and collectors alike who discovered the original CD's, cassettes and vinyls to be a rare find indeed making the value of the originals skyrocket.  Unlike the single 'Sundown', the Full LP was NEVER printed on vinyl which makes this an even grander endeavor as we will allow the music to be explored in ways never before imagined.
