300 vinyl in Limited and Numbered edition
Deviant By Ego’ feels like a transition zone, like torn between killing your former self and retaining what belongs to you (Spoiler alert : it’s also an anagram of our first LP 'Body Negative’).
We’ve always tried to bridge the gap between the precise violence of Post-Punk, the catchy stuff in Jangle Pop and the textural, repetitive and more experimental approach of Psychedelia but this time we’ve tried to push the codes of each genre further : to do so we’ve invited some reputed specialists in each domain, namely The Psychotic Monks on the Punk-Math-Kraut-Noise-Whatever opening track 'Idle Threat' and Bungalow Depression on the Ambiant closing theme ‘Underseas’; further extending the list of collabs we started last year as a lockdown project.
As a result this EP as a whole is more of a collection of mood swings rather than a coherent list of songs but we feel this suits a lot more the times we live in.
