Description

The Weathermen was one of those band who came out of the label PIAS, together with bands like Skinny Puppy, The Neon Judgement, Executuve Slacks, Klinik, Severed Heads and even Front242. Just to name a few.
The sound of The Weathermen was very influencial to electronic music and to the more darker clubscene.
We were honoured to be able to make some adjustments to some tracks as now it can be played between todays club tracks.
We rearranged some parts, made it with a 4 by 4 beat. Added some punch and power, and breaks where needed. But most of all, in respect for the originals.
Let Them Come To Berlin was the third communique from The Weathermen, and it is a very powerfull statement, reflected in the strong driven drumkicks and vibe of the track.
Are You New To The Bayou was released as the b-side of Poison, and tells the story of a swamp owner, or something like that. Anyhow, again a beast of a track filled with agressive drumkicks, bases and minimalistic melodies.
On the flip we have Mud (I Would F...) as a nice love story in perspective of a naive subject.
A subject that is just used by the... well it is a story about perspectives. Appregiators, drumkicks... electronic music at it's best.
Tonight And Every Night is the last gem on this EP. Very melodic, but very danceable too.
All tracks are edited and made for todays standard and for the future.
These edits are ahead of it's time. FenixFire is always ahead.
