This innovative release represents a dialogue between pianist Fábio Caramuru’s music and the sounds of several animals from the Brazilian fauna. These “two songs” are carefully intertwined in each one of the tracks, which results in unique, extremely balanced and delicate performances, paying a tribute to the Brazilian nature.
Fábio Caramuru was born in São Paulo, Brazil. In 1980, he received a French government scholarship, to improve his piano practice in Paris, with the Brazilian-French pianist Magda Tagliaferro, one of the greatest pianists of all times. He has a Master’s Degree on Jobim’s pieces for piano (University of São Paulo / Brazil) being one of the greatest experts in Brazil about Jobim. Caramuru is known for creating innovative projects mixing different artistic fields such as cinema, music, dance and so on. His album Fábio Caramuru | Dialogues between a piano and Brazil’s fauna, is an example of his creative and unique approach.
