UZ - Trinity

Marking a return to his original, groundbreaking trap roots and eight years into the UZ project, ‘’Trinity’’ features fifteen tracks of fresh and devastating material along with a long list of sought after collaborators. 

Since popping onto the scene back in 2012, French DJ/producer UZ has become a worldwide driving force in a variety of electronic genres – and under a variety of monikers. ‘Trinity’’ follows on from UZ’s 2107 album ‘’Layers’’ which peaked at #24 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Album Sales chart. With over 200 releases to his name on top imprints like Mad Decent, Boys Noize Records and Mau5trap, the former 2x World battle champ has been busy prepping his third artist album, ‘’Trinity’’.

During the production of this Album, UZ felt himself going through these same phases of metamorphosis, with his renowned sound evolving and shifting into something entirely new.  The ‘Trinity’’ LP represents a new path and sees UZ soaring to new heights musically and creatively.

This isn’t just about a new album; his legions of fans will be treated to some of his finest and diverse work to date with tracks spanning a variety of genres. 

Alongside his big hits from the last 12 months that include ‘Fire’, ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘Awakening’, there are numerous unheard pieces of material, and it's clear this has been a long time in the making. 

The talent on ‘’Trinity’’ is impressive from the get go with UK grime artist Snowy, producers HOLLY, HUCCI, Brothel, Chicago emcee Solo Sam, platinum selling DECAP, exciting up and coming artists TWNTY8, Vinny Virgo and Somber all packed into the album.

With 2020 putting a sudden halt to most producers live plans and releases, ‘Trinity’ LP seems to have brought UZ out on top.  15 tracks of wonderfully blended collage of heavy U.K, French and U.S. Hip-Hop, Trap and Electronic sounds, blurred together into something truly distinctive.
