EU1OGY was born out of chaos. The music defies genre. It is a raw, energetic deconstruction of everything you think you know about sound. Growing up in and around Baltimore, Maryland, EU1OGY spent much of his early childhood shuttling between group homes and foster homes, urban, suburban, and everything in between. For EU1OGY, music and art were salvation, a safe form of expression amidst the flux. Always the new kid, a born outsider, the sound of EU1OGY’s music reflects the many worlds he moved between, a raw, hardcore punk sound mixed with trap beats and a vocal delivery that will knock down the walls of your house. This is something totally brand new. This is EU1OGY.
Already in his young career EU1OGY has accomplished a lot. He was named in Alternative Press as one of their “100 Artists You Need To Know’ in 2021. He has been written up in Revolver Magazine, Discovered Magazine and No Echo. His song “WAGON” was featured in the launch campaign for streetwear Supreme’s collaboration with Cressi. He has been co-signed by Joel and Benji Madden of triple platinum punk legends Good Charlotte. He has even created a festival in Baltimore called Future Fest, which he sees as a way to “unify and showcase people who love music in Baltimore.”
DAGGERS is EU1OGY’s debut album. The sound remains true to his unique style—eerie guitars and synth soundscapes over punishing trap beats, with EU1OGY’s signature growl at the forefront. Speaking about the album, EU1OGY says “This album sums up my life entirely. Everything I shared on this project is real, none of the lyrics are fabricated. I went from being down bad to now having everything I’ve ever wanted, and I’ve worked hard for it—no handouts. Making this album was a long process but I didn’t have any expectations besides wanting to put something out that was different, yet familiar, all while staying true to myself and the overall vision. I wanted to show the world how I’ve been inspired by all the music and art I’ve crossed throughout my life, and how it’s influenced me, but with my own twist.”
In addition to a standard digital release, DAGGERS will be released on a limited edition vinyl LP. “I’m excited for DAGGERS to be pressed on vinyl because it’s something that people can physically touch and experience,” says EU1OGY. “I personally collect vinyl as well, so having my own piece of art pressed on records makes me feel so established/legit. The feeling of getting an album you like, putting it on the record player, and listening to it front to back is such an experience, and I’m so excited for people to have DAGGERS in their collection.”
