Did you know that Kurt Rosenwinkel’s first instrument was the piano?
The most emblematic jazz guitarist of his generation has finally decided to release his first solo piano album, a parisian recording session featuring three of his own compositions.
The first, aptly named “Lost Song” is newly rediscovered from his archives; entitled”Mister Hope” references the bebop piano master Elmo Hope and “Sole”, one of his most recent songs beautifully ends the album.
