Shifting Frames is the first full length album of „alllone”, a collaborative project of two producers based in Graz, Austria. Having made quite a name for themselves recently in the bass music scene they combine their various musical influences in this genre-defying union - leaning towards 170bpm but never limited to it.
The outcome is stunning - breaking out of bpm-constraints and stylistic limitations, the album travels across a vast array of electronic flavours and will keep the discerning listener firmly glued to their speakers in awe.
From the glitch-synth-hop of ‘Acryl Color Smoothie’ and ‘Inside Out feat. Forest Lloyd’ to the high energy half-time powerhouses ‘Night Shift’ and ‘Cooked’, the release effortlessly blends sonorities from the LA, London, Chicago and European electronic music landscapes.
All pre-orders receive a full WAV download of the release alongside their hand numbered 12” record at the end of the pre-order period.
Beautiful chaos, enlightened anarchism - Zenarchy aims to push forward thinking music, not bound by genre or BPM.
This album marks the very first release of the new imprint, a sister label of the internationally acclaimed dubstep label Subaltern Records.
