Maison Kitsuné was created in Paris in 2002 by Gildas Loaëc, a music producer, and Masaya Kuroki, a budding architect. In Japan, Loaëc and Kuroki developed the idea for Maison Kitsuné – a one-of-a-kind brand that fuses their love for French and Japanese styles, and two stylistically intertwined interests, music and fashion.
In 2013, a new element was added to Maison Kitsuné’s repertoire, extending the lifestyle brand’s range: Café Kitsuné.
In the sixteen years following its creation, the multifaceted, Paris-meets-Tokyo brand has consistently grown and increased its international influence, spreading its unique, inspirational Art de Vivre through Maison Kitsuné – the fashion brand, Kitsuné – the record label and Café Kitsuné – the coffee shops.
