Otis Redding, Joe Tex, Solomon Burke, Mary Wells, Wilson Pickett, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Rufus Thomas, William Bell (…) produced ongoing hits that were considered as warning signs announcing the unbridled and prosperous period that was progressively unveiling itself.
