Venture Lift - Arcadian Nights

After 10 years of performing live, and recording five albums in New York's Hudson Valley, Venture Lift 's latest album "Arcadian Nights" is the first from the band ever to be pressed to (180 g) vinyl. We are seeking your support.

Arcadian Nights is a 10 track Space Rock gem and message of love to the swinging underground. A labor of love for the long time musician and composer Stanton Warren, featuring collaborations with John Boldt of (ahimsa1970) and Alan Silverman on drums and recorded in part by Eli Winograd at Lone Pine Road in Kingston, NY.

A great new set of songs that show continued love for the influences of Spacemen 3's The Perfect Prescription and The Verve's A Storm In Heaven with the space rock tracks "No Cure For Loneliness" and "Little Sterling".

Inspired by time spent learning the art of the theatre, Arcadian Nights has songs about the Catskills and beyond, featuring the wonderful instrumental track "Summertime Smile", that is both Pet Sounds and the Beatles White Album inspired.

There are a dynamic set of influences on display and the album veers into an underground club vibe including the tracks "Future City Speed Train parts 1 & 2." Perfect for those after hours parties, and late night hoot soundtracks.

Arcadian Nights also features the original cover art by the designer James Marsh.

The pressing of Venture Lift's first 12", Arcadian Nights has been a long time coming but worth the wait for a limited edition first press of 200 copies.
