    Description

After 10 years of performing live in the Hudson Valley, and recording albums, Venture Lift 's fifth album, "Arcadian Nights" is the first from the band ever to be pressed to (180 g) vinyl. We are seeking your support.

Arcadian Nights is a 10 track Space Rock gem and message of love to the swinging underground. A labor of love for the long time musician and composer Stanton Warren, featuring collaborations with John Boldt of (ahimsa1970) and Alan Silverman on drums and recorded in part by Eli Winograd at Lone Pine Road in Kingston, NY.

A great new set of songs that show continued love for the influences of The Perfect Prescription and A Storm In Heaven on the tracks "No Cure For Loneliness" and "Little Sterling".

Inspired by time spent learning the art of the theatre, Arcadian Nights has songs about the Catskills and beyond, featuring the wonderful instrumental track "Summertime Smile", that is both Pet Sounds and the Beatles White Album inspired.

There are a dynamic set of influences on display and the album veers into an underground club vibe including the tracks "Future City Speed Train parts 1 & 2." Perfect for those after hours parties, and late night hoot soundtracks.
Included on the download card is the full album with 6 additional tracks.

Arcadian Nights also features the original cover art by the designer James Marsh.

The pressing of Venture Lift's first 12", Arcadian Nights has been a long time coming but worth the wait for a limited edition first press of 200 copies.

    United States
Venture Lift arose from the imagination of Stanton Warren who is an original member of the independent Canadian Shoegaze and early drone group Inner Sound Accelerator (ISA) who performed between 1995-1999 in St. Catharines and Toronto, Ontario. A native of New York State. After the breakup of ISA he began recording original material resulting in Venture Lift's debut LP-CD entitled “Futuretoreal" (2007) and the follow-up "Tower of Spacious Karma" (2011) featuring collaborations with Ingrid Sertso and Sterling Roswell, were released on the Detroit space rock label Mind Expansion Records run by Randall Nieman of the group Füxa. Venture Lift was also a featured contributor to Fire Records (2008) release of James Joyce's Chamber Music 1907 doing Verse V with a nod to Syd Barretts original "Golden Hair". 2008 also saw the beginning of a recording project with Peter Aaron of The Chrome Cranks that resulted in the 2012 release of the experimental/psych album "Avondale Airforce", and also features the artwork and album design of James Marsh. "A Room In A Grand Hotel" released in (2014) features the studio engineering work of Ted Orr and collaborations with Michael Esposito of The Blues Magoos, and Mackenzie Parker. It also features several tracks cut with the live line-up of the group at the time, Ash Umhey on bass/lead guitar, and Ben Vita on drums, and was recorded and mixed at Sertso Studio in Woodstock NY. 2017 brought the return of Venture Lift's fourth full length LP "Street of Mirrors" with collaborations with Ben Vita, John Penner, Eli Winograd and Alan Silverman as well as production with John Boldt of ahimsa1970 on several tracks. "Street" was recorded by Ted Orr and Eli Winograd who mixed and mastered it at Lone Pine Road studio. The album also features the artwork of James Marsh, designer for the "Tower" and "Room" albums as well. https://venturelift.bandcamp.com/
