Carousel is the first album from the moniker Dad's Typewriter. Written in the wake of Donald Trump's election to the presidency - and songwriter Michael McGuire's move to New York City - Carousel deals with themes of fear and frustration, but also love and acceptance. Musically, it brings together classic folk and rock structures with blues guitar and psychedelic flourishes.
