Presing is a band from Belgrade, Serbia, active 31 years already, with five albums released. Their second album, "6th Heaven" was #1 album of the year in Yugoslavia in the year 2002. The same album was proclaimed "one of the best five albums to come from Europe in the last decade" by Richard Byrne of New York Press. "Presing was the creative leader of their generation of Belgrade bands in the 1990s," said Dragan Ambrozic, editor in chief of pop culture magazine Ritam and the selector of Exit and Terraneo Festivals. Presing is an 8-piece crossover clique of unique instrumentalists such as Dušan Petrović (Fish in Oil, Coxless Pair, regular cooperator of Marc Ribot, Erik Truffaz, Buge Wesseltoft, etc, Aleksandar Jovan Krstić on flute, Vladimir Krakov on guitar, with powerful lyrics and charismatic live appearance of Kiza Radović. "Povratak u krntiju" (Comeback to a Wreck) is their fifth album, recorded with financial support from the Union of Composers of Serbia Sokoj. Presing's unpredictable blend of artistic styles continues to deliver stunning sonic surprises.
