Ludo morillon - Boris DMS Songs

L’idée est née de la batterie de « Sunday Bloody Sunday » du groupe U2 que n’importe qui peut reconnaître rien qu’en la jouant sur un bout de table.
Grand admirateur de The Cure et des batteries de Boris Williams (batteur du groupe de 1985 à 1994), j’ai voulu lui rendre hommage en rejouant et réenregistrant quelques-uns de ses rythmes merveilleusement composés. Ils sont particuliers, très musicaux et mélodiques.
J’ai proposé à des compositeurs et artistes dont j’aime beaucoup l’univers de recomposer un morceau instrumental ou chanté sur une des batteries afin de les mettre en valeur sur d’autres compositions et mélodies que celles des chansons de The Cure.
Je voulais aussi montrer qu’un bon rythme de batterie a une large place dans une chanson et qu’il est aussi identifiable qu’une harmonie.
Cela a aussi permis de mélanger l’univers de chaque compositeur à un rythme de batterie imposé ; on ne connaît pas toujours la genèse d’un morceau, il peut aussi partir d’un rythme de batterie.

Voici les recommandations techniques proposées à chaque compositeur :

• Respecter le rythme et le tempo.
• On doit reconnaitre le rythme mais on peut le couper à certains moments au besoin.
• On peut utiliser des effets et tout outil à condition de reconnaitre le rythme.
• Enfin, on peut utiliser une durée au choix.
